A Hotel in the main square of Baja, Hungary by the Danube River
The lady at the reception was very friendly and gave us all the information about the Hotel and area. We could also park in the main square opposite the Hotel without charge.
Unfortunately, we could not pay our stay in the Hotel by credit card as her POS machine was broken down she told us however that it was not a problem as we could withdraw Cash HUF from a Bank's ATM just beside the Hotel. There was no breakfast as there is no restaurant in the Hotel. The room was of a good size, clean and with all the amenities in it. Bed and mattress quite good too. The bathroom was comfortable with a shower cabin providing more than a shower, water massage etc.
Overall we had a good night sleep at a very good location next to the Danube river.

Big apartman
Big inside parking.
I am not sure they have all night reception as they asked us to arrive before 11 PM.
Our apartman was huge, lots of space.
Nice interior, very clean everywhere.
It also had a kitchen but without any equipment, no plates, no forks, nothing .... tough they gave us what we asked for from the kitchen.
I did not like the fact they in spite of us asking them not to come clean the room (as I do not like having anybody in my room unattended with my belongings) they did clean the room while we were in the city.
Breakfast was OK, nothing special.
Staff was friendly and polite.
They did not accept credit card at check-out.
We received some discount for the breakfast, thank you for that.
Bathroom was also a great size with massage shower (with uncomfortable wooden bottom).

Disappointment
We were first surprised by the front desk that was actually the smaller part of an untidy room with private belongings hanging around.
Having climbed a narrow stairway (no elevator), we entered an unfriendly, old fashioned room of poor taste with an empty fridge.
Reception closes in the evening, so if you need anything after that you’ll be connected to staff by telephone only.
My expectations were not met in the least!
If you want more value for your money, book Föter Panzio and save 33% or Duna Wellness at the same price, both in the very heart of Baja.

Friendly and comfortable
Location is central and near to railway station. Owners did certainly go out of their way to help us in sorting out onward travel problems. Baja is a nice place to visit for those cycling down the Danube and this hotel makes a really nice place to stay at
