What’s not to like!

We booked Kalinago for a very last minute trip in March and we were a little concerned about some of the reviews we read, but we had a fabulous time! Yes the hotel is a little dated and could probably do with a refresh but for us, the positives far outweigh any negatives. Our room was a good size with a gorgeous sea view. It was clean, had comfy beds, great aircon, lots of hot water and a fridge for some cold drinks. There was always a great selection of food at breakfast. The staff absolutely make this hotel …. Deslin and Lucille were outstanding!
The beach is beautiful, we thought it was the best on the island. Yes the Rhum Runner comes into the bay some days but that didn’t trouble us at all.
You get what you pay for and for us Kalinago hit the spot.

Amazing stay at this beachfront hotel

We spent 2 weeks at this fabulous hotel. This small and friendly hotel sits right on one of Grenada’s best beaches Morne Rouge (BBC Beach). This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and what a welcome we received as returning guests. The rooms are basic however they are spotlessly clean. They are a very good size with kettle, fridge, air conditioning, safe and we always had fresh towels and always hot water. We had full breakfast included which was great, so much choice and all cooked to order. The staff are so friendly and attentive ……Deslin, Roxanne, Lorraine and Nakisha to name a few . We would like to say a massive thank you to Julia the hotel Owner/Manager for making our stay such a memorable one. We will definitely be back!!

Tired worn down older hotel on an exquisitely beautiful ( mostly) quiet beach. 20 minute walk to restaurants in Grand Anse. Few dining options near hotel. Loud ( music decibel) party boats crowded with cruise ship people visited the beach ruining the quiet vibe - which was the best part of it. Would not return. Would stay on Grand Anse instead.

The location was perfect, beach front with an ocean view. The sunset was amazing every day. Staff was helpful and kind.

Staff very friendly and accommodating, property clean. Splendid beach! Shops are somewhat distant.
