Perfection- we will be back

We had the best holiday we’ve ever had here! If you want quiet, peaceful surroundings and relaxation this is the place for you. If on the other hand you want karaoke, sports bars and Irish pubs you need to look elsewhere.
Rooms- it seems most of the rooms have been renovated however we were in a standard room which has not been refurbished yet so it was a little dated however this did not bother us and we had a lovely view from our balcony.
Hotel grounds- gorgeous, so many different seating areas and shaded areas dotted all round the hotel,
Pool- the warmest I’ve ever been in. Shallow end 0.75m so our 4 year old could easily stand up in it. Jacuzzi was a lovely addition. Absolutely no fighting for a sunbed. Poolside toilets spotless, spacious and modern.
Breakfast- decent variety of bread, cereal, fresh fruit, pastries and eggs bacon sausage.
Hotel food- we had a couple of lunches and one evening meal
And it was delicious hot and came quickly.
Staff- absolutely amazing, so friendly and kind they all just float around the hotel quietly making sure you have everything you need. A special mention to Daria and Yiannis.
Restaurants- there’s not loads but enough choice and we would definitely recommend Familia taverna 3 minute walk, koukis which has a lovely terrace overlooking the beach and Banana Baya which is a chilled modern laid back place a 10/15 minute stroll on the beach. If you hire a car you will find many more dotted around. There is also a small shop selling food, drinks, toys etc a 2 minute walk away and a gift shop a 5 minute walk
Beaches- we only went to Vrahos which is 5 minutes away sunbeds were 20 euro for the day, sea is calm and shallow there is a beach bar also. There are several other beaches within walking distance
Overall the hotel and resort gave us everything we wanted it was pure perfection from the moment we arrived. and we will be booking for next year

A very happy holiday!

Our first visit to Vassilikos was a lovely experience. We were warmly welcomed by the Roxy and Chloe who were extremely helpful in giving us advice about the local beaches and tavernas etc. The Hotel is very clean and well run and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of choice. The Hotel setting is very peaceful and there are tavernas really close by and a small supermarket. The beach is lovely and clean with soft sand and safe swimming. Finally we found that all the staff were very friendly and thoughtful and made our stay very special.

Fabulous friendly hotel

Just returned from a 4 night mini break at The Vasiliko hotel beach , we chose this hotel and location , having never visited Zakynthos before, due to its small and friendly description and good reviews. We didn’t want a long transfer or busy nightlife location. This hotel and resort ticked all the boxes, it’s in walking distance to several beaches, tavernas, a lovely coffee shop and small supermarket. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The owner is a lovely English lady, Hilary. Her dogs are lovely and friendly too. The hotel is spotless, breakfast was fresh and quality ingredients catering for all nationalities. We will definitely be returning.

Vasilikos is heaven on earth!!

Vasilikos beach hotel is a perfect place to stay. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and an equally beautiful hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Maid service everyday. The nearby St Nicholas beach has perfect sand and crystal clear waters. Beach bars run alongside with plenty to choose from for a lunch time snack. There are 3 tavernas on your doorstep. Koukis beach and restaurant are well worth a visit. Familia was our favourite place to eat by far!
The staff at this family run hotel couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Special shout out to the resident 4 legged friends Baloo and Bailey!
Breakfast was so delicious with an amazing choice of hot and cold!
Just a very quiet, restful holiday! Thank you Vasilikos beach hotel for the lovely memories!

Peace, comfort and outstanding hospitality.

This is an amazing hotel, just a short walk from beautiful beaches. The village is small, so if you're looking for a lively nightlife scene, this may not be the place for you. However, if you want a peaceful and relaxing holiday in a friendly, welcoming hotel that is spotlessly clean, then this is the perfect destination.
The staff are attentive, the atmosphere is calm, and it's an ideal place to unwind and enjoy a truly relaxing break. A huge thank you to Hilary, Ria, Roxana, Daria and Yianni for making my week so enjoyable. Their warmth, professionalism and friendliness made my stay extra special.
I've already booked to return next year and can't wait to come back.
