Very nice hotel and location
I have spent one relaxing and beautiful week with my familly in this location. Everything is OK here: the hotel, breakfast, beach, sea, people.... Of course it depends on everyone expectation. For example the wi-fi is not good but we are not using internet in our holiday...We will came back here for sure.

Awful management and non qualified staff
My wife and I have booked this hotel via travel agency. From the first minute of our arrival this hotel has been nothing then very wrong choice (at the best). Booked double bed room, but got room with two separate beds with interesting sign on the door “Staff only”. The answer to not appropriate bed type was – “All our rooms are like this!”. After a short talk we found out that there are rooms with double beds, but those “Are more expensive! And not available!” After a talk with our travel agent the solution was for us to move three times to a different rooms during our seven night stay! Still one night we had to spend in a twin bed room. The hotel is relatively new, but in all the rooms we’ve been there were different problems – not working freezer, not working toilet (not flushing water) and etc. The staff was not helpful in solving those. I had a feeling that me myself had to offer solutions to their hotel problems. The location is very peaceful and remote (located in a very small village), this could be a plus if you like calm holiday. You definitely need a car if you want to see some sights our just simply get around the region.
If you want to sleep with your second half on a separate beds or drag your baggage from one room to another, choose this hotel! If you expect normal treatment during your holiday better avoid this place!

Good place for relaxing stay in uncrowded area
Nea Mesagkala is a small village over the sea, with beautiful sandy beach. I would say it is quite old fashioned, as there are almost no new houses, very few restaurants. It is a place more for local people as there are almost no tourists. There are only few small hotels, and Kastri is one of them.
Actually, the surrounding of the hotel looks better in the pictures than in reality, as it is definitely more green. it is around 200 m from the beach.But the hotel is nice. Rooms are really big, comfortable, and were thoroughly cleaned every day. The service is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is served in a restaurant nearby, paid separately. It could have been better, but it was sufficient or the beginning of the day.

It is a very good hotel with very good food. It was a very quiet and very relaxed holidays. O oază de linişte şi relaxare pe ţărmul mării Adriatice. Un hotel foarte curat care îmbină excelent condiţiile de hotel cu atmosfera familială de pensiune. Patronii deosebit de amabil, la fel şi personalul. Şezlonguri gratuite pe plajă, parcare imensă,gratuită şi supravegheată video. Restaurant în aceeaşi curte. Magazin tip "supermarchet" vis a vis. Foarte multe atracţii turistice în imediata apropiere(15-20 km). Un loc ideal pentru cei ce işi doresc linişte şi relaxare în concediu.”

Неплохой вариант только "переночевать"
Для бюджетного трехзвездочного отеля вполне неплохо, если у Вас есть машина и Вам нужно только переночевать, то это подходящий вариант. Но для отдыха на море нужно выбирать отели подороже.
Отель находится в глухой деревушке, вблизи нет никаких развлечений, ближайшая ж/д платформа, с которой можно уехать в "большой" город находится в 8.5 км. Мы брали машину в аренду, данный отель как вариант просто переночевать, нас вполне устроил. Кровать есть, горячая вода в душе есть, кондиционер есть - что еще надо?
Завтраки в отеле ужасные. Каждое утро одно и то же, никакого разнообразия, никаких свежевыжатых соков нет. Подходить лучше к началу завтрака, т.к. подкладывать еду на опустевшие тарелки, персонал не любит (но сок из пакета подливают). Среди овощей - только помидоры, притом недозревшие. Мы брали на завтраке арбуз и в один из дней, к нам подошел "охранник" и сказал, мол, так много кушать нельзя! На следующий день мы пришли со своим арбузом. В общем, за завтраки большой и жирный минус этому отелю.
Ужинали мы в таверне неподалеку, где готовят вкусную домашнюю еду. В так называемый "ресторан" при отеле мы не ходили.
Море близко, вход в море песчаный, ежей нет, но сам пляж никакой: серый песок вперемешку с сухими водорослями, никакой растительности на пляже нет. Море и пляж не впечатлили, но для того, чтобы окунуться вполне сойдет.
Вывод: для ночевки отель подходит, для отдыха на море - нет.
