The perfect hotel!
We came here for a week straight after our wedding with some of our immediate family to carry on our celebrations. This was the perfect place to relax after all of the wedding planning!
The staff are so friendly and super helpful. The owner really makes an effort to come and speak individually to every family and to check in on how your stay is going.
The rooms are beautiful. We had a sea view room. Beautiful views. Very aesthetically pleasing. We couldn’t have asked for more.
The pool area is lovely and clean and the views are breathtaking! The chilled music played around the pool is the perfect balance of chill and good vibes!
Food was amazing! Breakfast is served until 10:30am and has a range of different foods. We ate at the restaurant 2 evenings in our week stay. Both evenings we ate was a planned event, one night was the ‘ full moon ‘ event and the other ‘ strings under the stars ‘ both really good events with good vibes and amazing food!
The shuttle bus takes you down to the road of the beach or into town, we used this a lot. Just remember to book them with reception. The last bus back was 11:15pm so sometimes we stayed in town later and just got a taxi back, which was only €15.
We cannot fault Oniro and will definitely be returning! Thank you for a beautiful stay!

Amazing
As our week in Skiathos comes to an end, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at Oniro Skiathos for such an incredible stay.
The accommodation was beautiful, our private pool was amazing, and the views were honestly unreal. Having breakfast each morning overlooking the sea was one of the highlights of the trip and something I don't think I'd ever get tired of.
What really made the stay special was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they always went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The daily room service was excellent and kept everything spotless throughout our stay.
The shuttle service into Skiathos Town was also fantastic. With regular services in the mornings and evenings, it made getting around really easy and meant we could enjoy both the hotel and the town without any hassle.
A special thank you to the team for helping make a 21st birthday celebration so memorable. The effort and attention to detail really meant a lot and made the occasion even more special.
Thank you for your hospitality and for making our stay so unforgettable. I can't recommend this place highly enough and would love to come back one day!

Wonderful views - Average stay
The hotel has amazing views, the overall standard of cleanliness is excellent, this includes the rooms and communal areas.
The majority of staff are friendly and welcoming.
However, it is quite isolated, so hiring a car or quad bike is recommended, unless you are ok using taxis or the free shuttle bus service.
Times are limited for the shuttle bus, the first one to leave for the town is 10am. In my opinion a 9am option would be a great addition. The mini bus stops at bus stop 7 on the main road and the town by the harbour. The bus was quite old and the air conditioning not the best.
We are at the hotel one evening (Monday Greek night)
The food was of a good standard and good portion sizes. This meal was unfortunately let down by poor service, when our main plates were cleared no one came back to ask if we wanted a dessert or anything else. I also had to go to the bar to pay the bill.
The sun-beds by the pool aren’t great in numbers and some don’t have umbrellas, we only used the pool once in our 9 night stay, as it was later in the afternoon all the sun-beds were taken so we had to use chairs.
The rooms were of a good standard, one slight niggle was there wasn’t much storage, especially for our suitcases, bedside tables had no drawers. We experienced a lot of noise in our room from other guests, e.g furniture being dragged around on the balconies, thumping footsteps and things being dropped on the tiled floors. This happened late at night and in the early hours which was extremely annoying. The channel choice on the TV was poor with no dedicated UK channels. Sky news etc was listed but it said no reception. We asked about this and were told they had recently downgraded the TV package. We don’t go away to watch TV so this was no major issue for us. It’s just maybe something that could annoy others who visit.
Breakfast was good and very quiet between 7.30 and 8.30, one thing that could be improved is an upgrade on the toaster, it was just a 4 slice domestic one that is used in a home kitchen. So if the breakfast room is busy be prepared for a wait for your morning toast.
Also the plates were very small, the size of side plates, they should look at providing larger plates.
I contacted the hotel a couple of weeks before we stayed to advise them that my wife was celebrating a special birthday whilst we were there, and could they possibly allocate us a room on a higher floor, they acknowledged this and said they would do everything they could to make the stay a special one.
They did absolutely nothing at all to acknowledge the special occasion which was very disappointing.
Skiathos is a fantastic and beautiful island, we will definitely be visiting it again, but will stay closer to the town or bus route.

Avoid the minibus
Whilst the hotel is very nice, be prepared (at least in summer) to pay for taxis to the town and back. Although the hotel puts on free minibuses, they have no air conditioning, the windows remain closed, and cram up to 14 people in them at a time. It has been 40 degrees today and it is utterly unbearable. I emplore the hotel to invest in the air conditioning being re-gassed or better yet, new vehicles. Ruins the experience if you go out for the evening.

Wonderful Relaxing Stay in beautiful Skiathos
A big thank you to V and all his amazing staff at Oniro Hotel Skiathos. Visited end of June beginning of July. We had the best week at this lovely hotel. Stayed here many times but this was the first time since hotel changed ownership. The upgrade to rooms, pool, restaurant and service are outstanding. Every visitor is welcomed and valued. V lights up the whole place when he arrives and whilst on site. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable
