Perfect place in town
Both rooms were modern spacious and spotlessly clean. Towels and bedding changed every day.
Great location 2 mims from the top of Papadiamantis Street. With a small grcoers at end of street and close to bakery.
Manos was really friendly and so helpful. Hoping to go back at end of the summer for a few nights.

Location in the middle of a traffic hub
There are a few things I think I will mention because I myself would have appreciated knowing it before I booked:
First night in Skiathos we stayed at a pension that was a little up in the city facing the airport. It was really quiet here. When I mention it, it is to point out that Manolis House is one of the busiest places in the city. The main road right next to the hotel and which (also) leads to the beach is probably the busiest road I have seen on any Greek island - there are buses, noisy bullshit, cars and trucks constantly. It’s a rather uncharming neighborhood, but it also sounds inside or when you have the balcony door open. The road on which the hotel is located is also busy. So you're more or less in a traffic hub when you live here.
Choose a first-sales room, we stayed in No. 4 and it turned out to a wall with a little bit of green planting. It was very moist, shady and filled with mosquitoes. Which made us unable to sleep with the door open (we probably would not have been able to do that because of the traffic noise) because there were so many mosquitoes.
We rented a car and it is very difficult to find parking space. There is parking in the city, but it costs 50 euros per day. We learned to get back to town before 17, so it was easier to find a parking spot on the main road.
We stayed here for 3 nights as the last part of our holiday after we had been on the surrounding islands. There is no breakfast at the hotel, we went out and ate breakfast too, because it couldn't pay to shop in for breakfast for so few days.
Tip for the trip: If you are happy to hike then use SkiathosTrail, you will find a great hiking route signed in the harbour, and there is really beautiful out on all the beautiful routes!
One of the tours we went first day "ships and aircrafts". It was a fun trip out and see the planes so close, but we also came out past the airport itself and at the end there was also a beach, which was actually ok and quite well visited. More if you need a little quieter options than the large beaches offer. To the right of the landing course by the lake is a new outdoor fitness course.
