Excellent value

Excellent value. We had room 12 at the back of the hotel lovely view across the roof tops. Large room, big balcony, spotlessly clean and very well located. Easy to walk everywhere or hop on the bus to the beach as we did. We stayed for one night before flying home after island hopping. Great little hotel, excellent value, thank you.

Great value hotel in a good spot

I visited Hotel Karafelas for the first week of September. I had room 17 on the front of the hotel. It was clean and spacious. I was initially concerned it might be a little too noisy but not at all. The street went quiet earlier than I thought and the double glazing blocked the sound of late night scooters.
The room did smell of smoke but I got used to that, especially as people still smoke on bars and some restaurants too.
There was crockery supplied and a good fridge but there was nowhere to make a drink.
All of the staff were attentive and helpful.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a centrally located value hotel in Skiathos.

Una piacevole scoperta - grande ospitalità

Siamo stati in questo hotel una sola notte perché la nostra compagnia aerea, dopo ore di attesa, alle ore 00.30 ci ha cancellato il volo. Sono riuscita a mettermi in contatto con la signora che ha risposto al telefono anche a notte fonda e ci è venuta gentilmente a prendere fino in aeroporto. Per di più la mattina ci ha anche chiamato il taxi. È stata veramente molto gentile. Le stanze sono fornite di tutto il necessario e la posizione dell'hotel è perfetta in quanto centralissima. Dopo mille peripezie una nota positiva è stata proprio questa piacevole scoperta.

Posizione eccellente

L'hotel si trova sulla via principale della città . La nostra camera ha un arredamento essenziale, ma funzionale: letto comodo, piccolo lavabo e mobile con alcune stoviglie, frigorifero (silenzioso), specchio, luci comodini e prese di corrente elettrica. Ha un bellissimo balcone con sedie e tavolino che affaccia sulla strada principale. Bagno funzionale dotato dei servizi utili. Manca la tenda o cabina doccia, ma c'è un cordolo che impedisce la fuoriuscita dell'acqua. Basta uscire dall'ingresso dell'hotel per trovare negozi, trattorie, bar, ristoranti, farmacia, bar parrucchiere... E tutti i servizi offerti dalla città. Secondo me, questo hotel merita più di una stella e io e mio marito siamo stati veramente molto bene.

Buena relación calidad precio

Buena relación calidad-precio porque es un hotel muy céntrico. Esta al final de la calle principal y hay un horno abajo.
El wifi no funciona.
La habitación era pequeña pero bastante limpia, hay nevera, cubiertos, vasos y platos pero nada para cocinar ni para limpiar los platos después de usarlos. Cada dia limpian un poco la habitación.
La cisterna del baño es muy ruidosa y la ducha moja todo el baño ya que no hay ni mampara ni cortina.
Las camas son individuales pero bastante cómodas.
