Enjoyable stay

Lovely place with great potential. Very convenient location to reach every part of the island. Basic rooms but comfortable and fresh. Linen always clean and beds quite comfortable. Excellent value for money. Comfortable bar and pool open all day and until midnight. I was worried about the negative reviews but I changed my mind. Friendly and kind staff. A special thanks to Alexandra, very sweet and beautiful girl. If I return to skiatos I would choose this hotel again.

Not quite as expected

We booked the hotel last minute with a superior twin room and was very disappointing on arrival to have such a small compact room. The room itself was clean and the bedding was excellent but very bijou.
The overall facilities were very disappointing. The gardens were kept needed attention and mowing the greenery and shrubs all needed the head and cutting back. Everything looked very uncared for.
The pool was nice, but again the pool could’ve done with a good clean at the bottom daily and that never got done during our time which was five days
Appreciate its continental breakfast but was extremely poor even had to ask for basic things muesli instead of children’s cereal on offer and if you don’t like eggs, cheeses or croissants!!
Mia at reception was lovely always helpful and very knowledgeable

Very nice holiday location

A nice family hotel. The rooms are nothing out of the ordinary but have everything you need. The pool area is nice, also the areas for sitting are pleasant, you can almost always find a shady spot somewhere on hot days. The pool bar has a good little menu, we can especially recommend Frappee and Freddo espresso. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and attentive, we felt completely comfortable.
In the city with shops, taverns, etc. it is 10 minutes walk, bus stop to the beach/beaches is less than 5 minutes away. Although located on the larger road, it is quiet.

The perfect base to explore Skiathos!

We recently stayed at Elsa Hotel for a week and it was the perfect base for us to explore! It was our first time to Skiathos so we spent the days exploring the beaches using the well-connected bus network. Bus stop 3 was about a 5 min walk from the hotel, with a supermarket next to it. It was also around a 10 min walk down into Skiathos town where we enjoyed exploring the shops and eating at some of the many tavernas and restaurants. The room itself is basic, but exactly what you need when you are going to be out exploring. It was cleaned daily with a decent shower and beds, and a fridge and kettle. The breakfast is basic and we opted to go to the bakery across the road instead. The swimming pool and bar area are lovely and the staff, particularly Vera and Ioannis, are extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to the Elsa hotel for our next trip to Skiathos!

Not recommended

Bath and bed linen always stained, the shower without box enlarged the bathroom. The asking price is too high when you consider that cleaning leaves something to be desired. Nothing to complain about the outdoor spaces, pleasant, but do not compensate for the essential services missing.
