Amazing Almira
Just finished a 7 night stay at Almira. What a wonderful place! Welcomed by Anna with a warm smile and happy to answer any questions we had on arrival. The staff work tirelessly to ensure the hotel is kept clean, tidy and that the atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms are very comfortable, no bad views in sight where it’s a garden or pool view, both are beautiful. The food at Oregano is a real bonus, and somewhere we enjoyed for breakfast and dinner a lot throughout our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, a stones throw from Troulos Beach and the closest bus stop is stop 20 that takes you all across the island, very easy to use and navigate. There is no negative about this hotel, apart from the fact we had to leave it!! What wonderful hosts George and Anna are, and I hope to return to Almira in the future. Perfect stay.

Perfect for a relaxing holiday
First time in Skiathos and Almira made us fall in love with it. We wanted a quiet/calm holiday to relax and we certainly got it. Perfect location, close to the beach, the bus stop and some lovely restaurants. Almira’s restaurant Oregano was the best we went to. The rooms were so clean and tidied every day. Anna and George were so welcoming. Will definitely be back!!

A great stay with fantastic hospitality
We went to Skiathos for the first time in July 2026. We booked Almira thinking it was a classic resort, but it turned out to be a smaller hotel, ran by the nicest family. The atmosphere was great and despite its size never felt crowded, neither at the bar or pool area. Anna at the reception helped us a lot with both planning trips and local recommandations. The restaurant (Oregano) was great and the hotel was situated only 4-5 minutes walk from the beautifull Troulos Beach with local Tavernas and a small super market. We really cant recommend Almira enough, and our kids are already begging for a swift return.

Another excellent holiday
Our fourth time here and as always had a lovely time. Anna and George made us so welcome. The hotel is located back from the main road and in a lovely quiet spot, 400m from a superb non commercialised beach on Troullos. The pool and rooms are always clean. The restaurant (Oregano) on the premises was excellent as well.

Perfect place to stay
We returned from the Almira around a week ago and are already looking forward to returning next year.
The accommodation is ideally located with the beach, other bars and bus stop a short stroll away.
We booked B&B direct with the hotel owners (Anna and George) and communication was excellent during the booking process and also during the stay.
Transfer was arranged for us to and from the airport which was very much appreciated.
We were shown to our rooms which were spotless and well maintained and when we had a small issue with a hairdryer, it was replaced in minutes.
The bar, pool and garden areas were very well maintained with plenty of sun-beds available.
All of the staff were very friendly and could not do enough to assist and provide information.
The breakfasts were excellent and you could pick anything from the menu and we all enjoyed trying different things each day - again the service was first class.
All in all the 7 days we spent were very enjoyable and Anna and George were always on hand tonsupppet all the guests.
