Nice hotel near the beach. Very attentive staff. Main surprise was that even though the hotel is on the beach you have to pay to use the chairs the hotel provides - might be normal but surprised is.

Restaurant bar atrocious service and food AVOID

Visited the sellada beach restaurant bar on perissa strip. All good when entered, barmaid makes fabulous cocktails, super friendly and helpful, big shout out to her. Then it all went down hill. The bar was empty, so we both ordered food. The bar started to fill up, other couples ordered food. Then food started coming out of the kitchen and seemed to be scattered around the restaurant with no order at all. 70 minutes we waited for our food, several times we asked where our food was, the main bar man was surly, unapologetic and rude. The couple next to us also experienced the same issues, her food came out 40 minutes before his, then they bought his out twice! My tuna salad had hardly any tuna, and my husband’s gyros was cold and the bread had gone hard. When we questioned them they said the bar was busy and just raised his hands in the air. We said that we would leave them a review,he just said, “ do what you have to do” and shrugged his shoulders. So here is our review.Horrendous service on all counts. Avoid, plenty of other great places to eat.

Outstanding Experience in Perissa

Outstanding experience affordable yet luxurious. Staff are absolutely present to assist in making your travel experience on the island wonderful. Breakfast offerings included were the best experienced between Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. If you need to rent a car or set up a boat tour, staff will assist and absolutely do not upsell experiences you are not interested in. About 1/4 mile to the bus stop. Right on the beach with beach chairs, food and drink service. Able to snorkel right off the beach front of the hotel. All meals at the hotel were excellent though there are many options right along the main beach strip-we didn’t run out of options to delight at the hotel.

The room was good but the extra bed for our 2nd child was not comfortable so I suggest to only consider 3 ppl max in a room.
Staff was not helping with luggage which was not usual for a hotel in Greece. Also they were not always present in reception. WiFi always kept getting disconnected.
There were loose wires in the room so perhaps it was not fully renovated and was assigned to us.
Lunch in restaurant was not very good. Breakfast was good but they forgot many orders made for Alacarte breakfast so we had to remind them again and again.

Best Chicken Souvlaki in Perissa!

Wonderful food, fast service and friendly staff. Chicken Souvlaki was the best I had!
