Great Value Stay Near Fira – Clean, Quiet, and Convenient

I stayed here for three nights at the beginning of my week in Santorini, and then two more nights at the end. At around €50 per night for a double room in early June 2025, it was excellent value for money if you do not need to stay on the cliffside in Fira or Oia.
The hotel was clean and quiet, staff was friendly, and the breakfast good. Both of my rooms were pleasant and felt quite private. One had a full sea view and access to a large shared terrace; the other had a small private balcony with a partial sea view (which wasn’t advertised). The hotel has two small dipping pools, which I enjoyed using.
The surrounding area is a bit worn but has its charm, with maze-like alleyways. The hotel is set back from the main street, which helps keep things quiet, but parking could be tricky. I arrived on foot.
Everything you need is nearby: a bus stop, a large supermarket, an excellent 24/7 bakery, and several good restaurants. You can walk to Fira (and the main bus station) in just over 15 minutes. If you're traveling light, it's even possible to walk to the airport in about an hour—but I wouldn’t recommend it, as much of the route is along the roadside.
Overall, I’ll give this place 4.5 stars. And I wouldn't mind coming back.

The perfect hotel for couples near Fira.

Our stay in Santorini was perfect thanks to this beautiful hotel. It is very close to Fira, you can walk in 20 minutes. New facilities, with nice views from the terrace of the room, super attentive and friendly staff, thank you Katerina!!

Aldea: nice place and fantastic Katerina

The place is very quite; the breakfast is fantastic! The rooms quite and very clean. The hotel is near to Fira (20 minutes by foot). There aroud (5 minute by foot) you can find supermarket, bus stop, bakeries. The cost to rent a car is more or less 60 euro for day. The transfer for/to the airport costs 55 euro. Oia is to be visited. The major value of Aldea is its manager Katerina. She is very kind and she will give you all the racomandation necessary to spend a nice holiday. In the reception you can rent a car to be taken directly near the hotel; you can book directly in the hotel the boat cruise. Katerina may suggests you the better restaurants near the hotel or in Fira or in Oia. The quality of the food is very very good. The price is good (a greek salad 7/10 euro, fish food 18/22 euro). Ciaooo Santorini.

Aldea recommended!

I had a great time, clean, close to the small, white pedestrian-only historic center. However shops close by on foot. Very advantageous rate. The relaxation area with small swimming pool is also very relaxing. Nice sea view even if the coast is not very close. Quiet, relaxing hotel, attentive and helpful staff for everything. Good breakfasts. Convenient location in Fira, 20 min walk. I had a quad and the central area of the island (Karterados) allowed me to travel around it entirely in total freedom. The room was spacious with an intimate balcony where I was also able to have dinner with a Delivery called from the reception. I advise!

Good value for money option near Fira

Good accommodation option to be close to Fira without paying high prices. It is 5 minutes away by bus.
The hotel is very good value for money.
It is not a central area but the bus stop is less than 10 minutes walk away, and next to the stop there are cafes, a supermarket and a restaurant.
It is a quiet, safe area.
Little space to park.
The personal is ver kind and helpful. Always willing to solve any problem and help customers.
The pool, although small, does the job. And in all rooms there are very large common terrace areas.
