Great location, well equipped, Cretan hospitality at its best

Stayed for 2 weeks, so relaxing! Room is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable home-from-home stay. 2 minute walk to beach. Several traditional restaurants on your doorstep or a few minutes walk along the sea front. Good supermarket with deli close by (10 mins walk) along with butchers and 2 bakeries, and the bus stop to town. 3km walk along the beach road/promenade/beach into Rethymno old town, or walk the other way 7km of long sandy beach!
Zaharena and Michalis are great hosts, whatever you need you can just ask. We even had little gifts of their own olive oil and raki, perfect!
Very clean rooms, lovely garden, peaceful spot off the road, traditional style rental so not fancy or modern simply comfortable, perfect for our stay.

Excellent hotel

This hotel is very close to seaside and the room was always perfectly clean. The owners are an extraordinary couple who always take care of the guests. It's perfect for families.
Unfortunately they don't provide any extra service like breakfast, airport pick-up, etc. But honestly I can't find anything negative in this place because I could realise that the owners really love their guests and I really appreciate this kind of attention.

Perfect apartment

Great hosts, comfortable bed, lovely quiet apartment a few minutes walk to the beach and close to some of the best restaurants in the city. Balcony to relax on in the evening and beautiful trees and greenery around.
Everything was perfect and the owners couldn't do enough for us and gave us lots of helpful advice and help. If you want to meet and stay with the nicest people in Crete then come here.

"Just" perfect

We stayed at Michaels Apartments for 10 days. From the beginning to the end we were pleased with the service we received. The room was spotlessly clean and it was equipped with all the necessary kitchen items we needed. (except for the microwave) The beds were very comfortable. The apartments are located just 2 minutes far away from the sandy beach. The owners were by far the nicest and kindest hosts I have ever met. I would definitely recommend this place.

cute hotel with beautiful garden

Very cute hotel with airy rooms and just in 5 minutes from the sea. Everything is clean and new. Small kitchen coner has all a person may need for sime simple dishes. There is also beautiful garden. My room was on the second floor and I could see from my balcony the branches of lemon and pomegranat trees with fruits on them. The hosts are so kind and friendly. They provided me with eggs frim their own chickens for free and presented me with a few just picked up figs on my departure. The parking normally is not a problem.
