Wonderful stay - Cozy hotel close to the beach and great staff!

My family and I had a truly great and memorable stay here. It is such a cozy hotel set in lovely, scenic surroundings. The staff were amazingly sweet and friendly from the moment we arrived. The hotel is only 80 meters from the beach, which made it super easy with the kids. The private beach area has plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, and the staff regularly walk by offering snacks and drinks.I actually read a review saying there are no beach bars nearby. That is simply not true! If you walk just a couple of hundred meters down the beach and cross a small stream, you will find several beach bars in a row and the absolute coziest taverna you can imagine. A huge recommendation goes to both Medusa Beach Bar and Tavern Ta Platanakia! If you walk the other way along the main road instead, there is a mini-market about 500 meters up the road. Right next to it is Restaurant Zobas, where you get a very good meal too.Buses to Preveza run regularly if you want to explore. A taxi from Preveza back to the hotel costs around 25€ and takes about 20 minutes, which we preferred since the buses have a gap of a couple of hours. (If you take the bus from Preveza, they leave from across the street outside the Preveza City Hotel). The only downside was our attempt to visit Parga. We were told by the reception that we could book a bus through them and that it would pick us up the next day at 12:00 PM. We went out to wait, but after standing there for a long time in the baking sun with a toddler, we had to give up and went back to the reception. It turned out that the driver who had promised to pick us up at 12:00 wasn't the one driving the shift the next day after all, so we ended up waiting completely in vain and missed out on seeing the town. We will just have to save that for next time! All in all, a wonderful area and a lovely stay. We will definitely come back again! :-)

A fantastic oasis with world-class personal service!

We (me, my 16-year-old daughter, my 18-year-old son, and his girlfriend) chose this hotel because of its beautiful architecture, lovely garden, and above all, the highly positive reviews about the staff. We were looking for a quieter spot in Greece surrounded by beautiful nature – and we were not disappointed! One specific review, by user Voyager58596209837, was especially meaningful to me and was something I could relate to. It is a stunningly beautiful hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Everyone is truly super nice.
Some of the highlights of our stay:
Room Upgrade: My daughter and I received a room upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise.
Exceptional Service: The staff genuinely goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and accommodate requests. For instance, we wanted to watch the World Cup in the restaurant after closing hours, and they let us watch the games – even the match that aired at 5:00 AM!
Food & Drink: The hotel offers delicious food at reasonable prices. A tip is to ask for the vegetarian carbonara; it’s not on the menu, but they were more than happy to make it for us. They have their own windbrand and cocktails are not overpriced.
The Location: It’s a bit secluded, but there is a mini-market and a restaurant within walking distance (as a hotel guest, you even get a discount at the restaurant).
Excursions & Transport: There are bus connections to Kanali and Preveza. With help from the staff, we were also able to take the bus to Parga, and they gladly assist with booking taxis. Don't miss visiting the Zalongo Monument – the view from up there is breathtaking! Paxos and Antipaxos Boat Tour also highly recommended.
Pool & Beach: The pool area is very cozy with plenty of space available at all times, and the same goes for the beach located just nearby.
Shopping and dining: Preveza is much cheaper than Parga. But Parga is a must because it is so beautiful.
The wonderful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made our vacation absolutely perfect. We highly recommend this hotel!

Very disappointed experience!

This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had.
We specifically booked and paid for a sea view room. On the day of our arrival, I even called the hotel because I wanted to make absolutely sure that our room had a sea view. I was clearly reassured over the phone that it did and was told not to worry.
When we arrived, we were shocked. The room overlooked the swimming pool and a large wall. The sea was barely visible, and describing this room as having a "sea view" was, in our opinion, misleading.
What disappointed us even more was the attitude of the owner at the reception. Instead of acknowledging the issue or offering a reasonable solution, she insisted that this was a sea view room and showed no willingness to understand our concerns. We felt that our complaint was dismissed rather than taken seriously.
The hotel itself also did not meet our expectations for a 4-star property. In our opinion, the facilities, the room quality, and the overall standard were much closer to a 3-star hotel.
The situation became so frustrating that we decided we could not stay there. After spending almost two hours trying to resolve the issue, we left the hotel. Fortunately, Booking.com intervened, reached an agreement with the hotel, and we received a full refund.
A holiday starts with trust, and unfortunately that trust was broken from the moment we arrived. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine sea view room or professional customer service.

Great for relaxation and tranquility

Really lovely hotel and staff were really nice and helpful. The hotel is quiet and quiet. Breakfast was fine by Greek standard, and their food in the restaurant was really good. Unfortunately, they only offer food until 18:00, as the hotel is relatively far from restaurants and a little bit of evening life. In contrast, the location is perfect in relation to the beach, where the hotel offers free sun loungers. The beach is lovely and not crowded, so it is nice peaceful. The hotel's pool is also lovely with comfortable sun loungers. Since the hotel is not so big, there was really good space at the pool. We had it virtually for ourselves on our departure day. Overall a really lovely stay. It would be nice if there was the possibility of renting bicycles or scooters at the hotel, to take in to Kanali, but the bus goes right outside the hotel. However, you have to take a taxi home as the last bus leaves quite early. We gave 5 Euro from Canali and 25 from Preveza

A 4 star that is not worth them!

Dirty room, dust and bits of fabric everywhere, zero-maintenance bathroom: toilet water malfunction, semi-broken toilet board, after a shower water was everywhere.
In addition, their idea of half board is actually to go to the Zorbas restaurant 1 km from the hotel.

Very good location
