A very good choice in Panormos.

A really very good hotel. Clean rooms and nicely decorated. The room we were given despite the budget price was a two-room with a kitchen and a bedroom reminiscent of other times. Very polite staff. Good breakfast. Good location near the sea and between the cities of Rethymno and Chania.

Loved our stay in our studio room, it was only an overnight stay but the apartments, the owner Manolis & his attentive staff made us feel very welcome.
Dinner at the Kastro Restaurant on the premises was superb and we really enjoyed the rustic but elevated local cuisine!
Sorry we left without seeing you Manolis, to say goodbye for now!

Great Experience and lovely staff. I will come back!

I could only say good words about the hospitality and the great time in Kastro Apartments. First, the owner and his family welcomed me as they knew me for many years. The owner's son Giorgios helped me with my luggage. They are warm and very kind people.
When I opened the room door, a fresh aroma hit me and the room was fabulous. Modern and cosy design and the bed reminded me of the good old traditional days with curtains on the sides. The room was clean and tidy.
Downstairs, located the Kastro Restaurant the owner invited me that night to have a dinner. Modern Cretan cuisine as it's best. I had grilled fish that night; it was delicious with all the flavour and natural juices of the fish. Slow tempo Greek music was in the background, and the atmosphere was ideal. The staff were fantastic always there for you.
If anyone wants to spend a few days in Rethymno, relax in a cosy apartment with a fantastic sea view and eat a delicious meal in Kastro Restaurant, then I highly recommend it.
Thank you, Manolis, for the great hospitality and time. I will come back!
