Great Value in Beautiful Nafplio

I stayed in a single room at Hotel Hera for five nights in October. It was perfect for me--great location, friendly and helpful staff (who even mailed me my favorite jacket when I accidentally left it at the hotel), quiet, convenient and all at a very good price for Nafplio. I highly recommend it and will definitely return if I get back to Nafplio (which I hope I do -- it was some of my favorite time in Greece!).

Bad experience

The hotel have got clean and Small rooms. Its very Expensive. They are Helpful and its only 10minutes from sintagma square. If you have got a car, be careful because the hotel is without parking...!!!

Cute & Quiet

Budget-friendly and perfect for the 25-35 solo traveller. 5 min walk to the old town, stairs of Palamidi, etc.
My room is very purple, but is quite spacious and calm. It blacks out completely at night (I love European hotels!) and has a nice balcony. Some street noise, but no raucous guests.
Amenities include private bathroom, A/C-heater combo, Wi-Fi, TV, and a kettle. Simple breakfast of coffee, toast, and jam/honey (in-room). Free street parking.

Good location

Hera Hotel has a good location. It is easily accessible to the bus station, and the square where there are many restaurants.
It is also accessible to Harbour to get to see th island. Hereis also the hop on and hop off bus station to go around and up to the Casle.

Next time in Nafplio will stay again.

If you are looking for a cheap decent hotel, few minutes walk from the old town, then this is an excellent choice.
If you are the type who needs a good room to sleep and shower and explore the surroundings it is perfect.
Clean, cheap, helpful owner.
Even though they don't serve breakfast, the rooms offer a small fridge, a water boiler, single serve instant coffee bags, tea bags, sugar, rusks, butter and jam which they replace daily. I really loved that. It was a life saver.
On the minus side if you have any kind of difficulty walking, there is no elevator.
