Super cozy and great hotel!

Super cozy hotel. First of all, the staff. So incredibly nice and helpful, it says quite a lot about a hotel when you get a hug at check out. Perfect hotel for both couples and families. It is located both beach and restaurants close. And just a few minutes taxi (fixed price of £7) into Plomari, quick to get taxi too. The hotel itself is fresh and nice quality. Good pool, nice rooms, good restaurant both for lunch and dinner. However, the best is probably the bar and pool service, they have everything from snacks like toast etc. to just about every drink you can imagine.
If you're going to Plomari, this is where you're staying.

Recommended for a relaxing holiday.

A lovely small family run hotel with a relaxing homely atmosphere. Family & staff are very friendly & helpful.
Rooms are basic, but clean with sheets & towels changed daily. All had balconies & ours overlooked the pool.
Breakfast had plenty on offer which was self service with seating inside or outside overlooking the pool.
There was a snack bar serving into the evening & the food was good.
Plomari is a lovely town with lots of restaurants, we would walk the 2km from the hotel & get a taxi back for 7€.
Overall I would recommend Sandy Bay Hotel & Plomari if youre looking for a relaxing holiday.

Small and cozy hotel

Affordable and genuine accommodation. We enjoyed our stay. A small family-run hotel with good service. Simple rooms but large balcony with great views. Good pool and nice service.

Great hotel with perfect location!

Clean and nice, great staff, good breakfast, short distance to the beach, great view! Traveled with my daughter at 19, who appreciated a lively bar 100 meters away.

Nice hotel with a great view

A pleasant and relaxed stay overall. The hotel has a friendly, family-run atmosphere, and the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming, which really makes a difference.
The breakfast is good and does the job, and there’s a nice bar to enjoy a drink in a laid-back setting.
One of the highlights is the view – absolutely spectacular, especially at sunset. The sunsets from the hotel are truly beautiful and something we will remember.
One thing to keep in mind is the location – it’s about a 2 km walk to Plomari, which is a very nice walk, but the hotel itself is located up a fairly steep hill. If you’re older or have mobility issues, this is something to consider.
The rooms are quite basic and a bit on the noisy side, so it may not be the best choice for a honeymoon or if you’re looking for something more high-end.
That said, for a simple and friendly place to stay with genuinely lovely people, it’s a good option.
