I loved our distribution!

It was exactly what we wanted, and even more.Katsarchin, the location of the accommodation is excellent.You have the absolute tranquility, away from the landscape without being far away from it.It is important that the hotel is also close to very nice beaches The view from the room is amazing and the rooms are clean.The best of all were our hosts.

Great value for money in this little gem!

The owners George en Nizzie are the kindest people. They really did everything to make us feel at home. The hotel has great views to sea and mountains. The big bed was comfortable and aircon worked perfectly. Hotelroom had a little balcony with stunning view over the sea. We had a great dinner. In the afternoon they discussed with us what we would like and it was as we wished for. And then breakfast: exceptionaly good. Nizzi makes her own marmalade, delicious carrotcake, fresh fruits en eggs as you like. They both stayed in Canada for many years so it was easy communicating! We felt like long lost friends.

A great find for a peaceful end to our holiday

We had planned to spend the last night of our 2 weeks travelling round Lesvos in Mytilini but changed our mind because the town is struggling badly to cope with the huge influx of Syrian refugees. We booked a night at the Blue Bay, which is very conveniently situated 15 minutes by car from the airport.
The location is lovely: rural, tranquil and beautiful. Our room was very big and had huge full-length glass doors leading onto a balcony with fabulous views over the whole valley including the sea, woods, fields, sheep and a few houses dotted around. The terrace and restaurant benefit from the same stunning views.
Granted, there's no English TV channels and the room's interiors are a bit dated but the size and the amenities (fridge, air con, hair dryer, liquid and solid soap) more than make up for that. And we just felt at home with our hosts.
Our host and hostess in this well-run family business spoke excellent English. We were probably the last guests of the 2015 season and felt looked after extremely well. We were served a delicious dinner of home-cooked courgette flowers, lightly-battered sole and various salads. The breakfast the next morning was great too with home-made fig jam and orange marmalade as well as light spinach/feta pastries and the most fluffy carrot cake ever! (Made with local olive oil we found out).
The local beach is fairly close by (500 metres) and it's lovely! A good length and with a gradual slope into the deeper water. The pebbles on the water's edge are not too hard to overcome. There are showers and rickety changing cabins as well as a snack bar with sun beds and parasols.
After travelling round Lesvos for 2 weeks this was actually one of our favourite locations/beaches. We'll be back!

Σαν ξενοδοχείο πολύ ωραίο το μοναδικό προβλήμα όπου έχει είναι το πάρκινγκ και ενημέρωνει βέβαια ότι έχει μόνο δύο θέσεις και όποιος προλάβει...Σαν προσωπικό πολύ ευγενική και πολύ εξυπηρετικη...το αρνητικό σε μας ήταν ότι αλλά είπαμε στο τηλέφωνο όταν το κλείσαμε...σε θέμα τιμής...και άλλα είπαμε στην επαλήθευση τις κρατήσεις...παρόλο που κατάλαβαν το λάθος τους μας ζήτησαν συγγνώμη και τίποτα παραπάνω...

Een zaak runnen met hart en ziel

UIterst mooi uitzicht uit de kamers. De uitbaters koken zeer lekker 's avonds op aanvraag/afspraak. Geen internet op de kamers. Jammer. Je bent rap in Mitilini en hebt toch de absolute landelijke rust. Twee heel leuke strandjes op 1 en 2Km.
