Vibrant hostel
Great hostel. Stayed in a four person room for one night. It was clean, had working aircon and had the transfer service next door. There was a lovely atmosphere on the rooftop and it was very closely located to the town centre. I would absolutely stay here again. Only negative is that the main door is lockable via key so I would lock the door but I could wake up to an unlocked door if someone went in/out and didn’t relock. I would really prefer a swipe card system and an auto lock door to increase security.

LOUSY EXPERIENCE
The treatment of the reception person was really lousy, a bad face from the beginning and giving me indications more as if by obligation than by anything else with very bad ways of responding. The room was tiny and the spaces totally small, you could not even open the suitcase completely. The shower dirty and no room to place things more than having to leave them outside the room. DON'T GO.

THEY HAVE NO SHAME
The ferry from Santorini to Mykonos was cancelled to me and my partner so we couldn't change islands and this hotel didn't care at all. We showed him proof, tickets and messages of the cancellation and it didn't matter exactly. We lost all the money from a hotel we couldn't go to because of force majeure. They're LADR0NES

Stay clear!!
Had a very unpleasant stay recently at this hostel. Upon arriving, the woman at the front was rude and dismissive and not accomodating in the slightest. When we arrived to our room, we quickly realised we were not in the room we had booked and paid for so spoke to the woman at the front, who told us that because we had touched the beds now, there’s nothing she can do. No apology. The beds are smaller than a single bed and my bunk was very dirty- clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There is also barely any space to store your luggage in the room as they’ve crammed so many bunks into the room- not practical at all. Half the toilet/shower doors in the dorm I was in did not lock. My flight out of Mykonos wasn’t until 11pm so I went to reception 2 days prior to request a late checkout, or access to a shower at the very least, to which the same woman told me “no, it’s July so that’s not possible, we are booked”. The dorm we were in was probably 20% full so this was not a big request and could’ve been the least she could’ve done after a very unpleasant stay. The aesthetics of the hostel are nice but that’s about as good as it gets.

We love George
We absolutely loved staying at this hostel.
It was amazing location, great price, good facilities, perfect for sunset Pres! Also when we had to stay an extra night because of cancelled ferries, they were super accommodating and made our stay so much better☺️
Massive shoutout to the man who worked at the supermarket at the hostel. His name is George, but we call him G. He literally is the best, he made us feel like we were right at home, gave us free snacks, always had a massive smile on his face and was so happy to see us, as we were to see him. We always loved to pay him little visits throughout the day, just to have a chat and say hi.
It was definitely sad to say our goodbyes, but we will always remember G. We even made a handshake with him
GIVE THIS MAN A PAY RAISE IMMEDIATELY
We hope to see him again in the future, but if we don’t, we want to wish him all the best, and he is always welcome in Australia❤️
