Close to old town

The hotel is on the edge of the tourist/old-town portion of Heraklion, which means it is walking distance to the major city attractions and great restaurants. The hot breakfast was great and the staff very cooperative. Our room was clean and comfortable, although on the dark side (our view was of an inner service quadrangle). This is a place to sleep for people going out to see the city and island; it does not have resort features such as a pool.

Sympathetic

- 4 nights.
- Recently renovated looked.
- helpful people in general, with the owner who only spoke on the phone, served us in what we asked, the brunette girl at the reception very willing and helpful as well as a blonde.
- The room we stayed small but in good condition, its air conditioner has a "cutter" at 25 •c in the warm....the layer good and generally the bed linen - towels, the mini fridge functional, generally well.
- The bathroom now needs work...
It is small and its accessories are in a bad condition.....the shower without a protective curtain ....but if it had been so small that it would stick on you resulting in no bath to do you could....but all its dirt would stick on you.....maybe for a cabin with glass will have to think the responsible, because now to do a bath you must first empty the bathroom and then go and water in the room as one understands.....
This is a problem!!!
- Now although it is on the main street of Paros the hotel our room was quiet (isolation?) we stayed in the 2nd with a balcony on the main street "210".
On Saturday there is a popularity all the way in front of the hotel (we were informed) that we already bought cheeses....no problem because neither you otherwise has fenced parking on the back side on the other street.
We didn't feel the bust of it anyway!!!
- Breakfast needs work...
Y.G.
Finally, I want to point out that my comment as an evaluation is friendly....and aims to highlight all those that we considered as customers need to be improved.
Thank you.

Horrible night's sleep very uncomfortable and dingy

Dodgy, Dingy Rm 112
It was a real letdown from our previous hotels when we walked on the soiled carpeted hallway. The opened door revealed a darkly decorated camp prison minus the bars. Our beds were so low to the ground we thought we were given a children's room by mistake. but were too weary to return to the desk to protest and thought we would make the best of it. The room appeared to be clean. The beds held more unpleasant surprises for us. My sister's bed had a badly scratched headboard indicative of a struggle or foreplay. The mattresses were part of the prison decor, being horribly uncomfortable- like sleeping on a stone ledge. My hips felt like they needed surgery to relieve the ache but my ribcage fared no better when I tried to reposition myself. My younger sister could hardly get out of be as she hurt so badly. The breakfast was good.
I suggest you refurbish the room and MATTRESSES before you torture other guests; better yet, make management spend the night in there!

Clean budget hotel

Friendly service and clean rooms with late checkout. The staff speak little or no English but it was not a problem. Brewed coffee for free breakfast but espresso available at bar.
We stayed here as the farmers market was on the next morning.
Lots of great cafes in town
