Island hopping
We stayed at these studios for 6 nights the people were lovely who ran it and the room was spotless. Sheets and towels were changed every couple days. Balcony had a beautiful view.
There are 10 mins walk from the port and up a bit of a hill but definitely worth a visit.
Lots if lovely restaurants and local buses to nearby villages run pretty regularly we went to platy giose beach and to apollonia village one afternoon to see the sights and again one evening we had a lovely walk and meal in apollonia.
If you miss the last bus which is 10pm a taxi is 9 or 10 euros
Sifnos beach is beautiful and you can walk in the sea quite far to.

Unacceptable treatment in communication
Unacceptable treatment in communication
My review is exclusively about my experience with the booking, the cancellation, and communication with the accommodation, as our stay ultimately did not take place.
We had made a reservation for four nights and had paid a deposit of €90. A few days before our arrival, I was forced to cancel because my visa for professional reasons was canceled.
Initially, I requested a refund because during the phone conversation and payment, no specific cancellation policy was informed to me. The owner invoked the relevant legislation and, after I was informed, I accepted that the €90 would be retained as a cancellation fee. I even wrote to him: Okay, I received your update. Please send me the receipt for the €90 for the cancellations, as you mentioned. Thank you.
Despite the fact that the economic issue had essentially ended, the answer I received afterwards was that "you are trying to create situations."
I find it extremely offensive to assign such a characteristic to a customer who has already accepted the retention of their money and is simply asking for the relevant receipt.
I have been traveling for many years and I certainly know that a late cancellation can have financial consequences. What I do not consider acceptable is the lack of composure and professionalism towards a client when a disagreement arises.
I cannot judge the rooms or the facilities since I didn't stay at the accommodation in the end. But I can judge the service and the communication that I personally received. And this experience was enough that I won't choose this specific accommodation in the future.

Very clean
very clean and well kept studios a short walk downhill/uphill from the village the owners do not speak much English but were very friendly and helpful our room had a kettle and fridge for drinks the bed was hard as in the Greek tradition

Fantastic studios
Just stayed in the meltemi studios for 6nights such an amazing place. Here is the directions to the studios. When you get off the ferry walk along the Jerry to the road. Turn left keeping the sea on your left and walk straight up the road for about 500 metres. You will come to a super market called Faros. 20 metres after the supermarket you will see hotel kameri. Turn right here when you see the sign for meltemi studios. Walk up hill for about 30 metres then turn left and you will see the meltemi studios. The family who own the studios are all very friendly. The studios are typically Greek but are spotless. We stayed in room 9 which was on the ground floor and had a nice sea view. This room had a single bed and a big double bed. The cleaner came in every day to clean up and change the sheets on the bed . The only problem was that the shower was a bit small and water ended up soaking the floor. We always bring a small plastic scraper for this reason. It was a pleasure staying in these studios and the family made you very welcome. We would definitely come back.

Great value cosy place
Lovely little place set back from the beach, quiet and close to the village. The rooms were clean and basic but well equipped. Excellent value for money and nice hosts who spoke little English but we're happy to help. We had to change our dates for the booking which they did quickly and without charge.
