Fabulous Apartments

We stayed in room 3 from 10 - 17 June 2017.
The apartments are just off the main street in Lindos but in a very quiet location.
The room was very cute with 2 single beds and a mezzanine area with a double.
It had aircondition, wifi, hob, fridge, kettle, safe and shower. The only thing lacking was a hairdryer.
The room was cleaned on all days apart from one.
Beach towels are available to rent for the week.
There was a small sunken courtyard and on the upper floor plenty of washing line space.
The owner was friendly and always spoke.
I emailed the apartments before we arrived to request a late checkout room which was granted.
These are super apartments in a fab location and clean. I would stay here again.

Over priced and needs TLC

The much poorer relative of the Melenos Hotel - these apartments need some major TLC. They are seriously expensive for what you get ( don't get). The lady owner and the maid were very lovely and I cannot fault the cleanliness. The cleaner/maid worked very hard and the room was spotless but there are some basic amenities missing in these apartments which could go along way to improving a holiday stay.
The mattresses were in diabolical condition , no mattress protectors and literally foam spilling out of cover. Serious case of back pain ( which I have never experienced ) whilst staying here. The rooms are dark, the bathroom needs retiled and it is impossible to cook here ( poorly equipped) and have an evening in. The outside space does not lend itself well to relaxing . It is more of a utility area ( despite the planting) for washing and hanging out the Melenos Hotel Chefs Whites etc. Really missed not having a view and a space to relax in.
I don't mind basic and I get 'you get what you pay for' but these apartments in their current condition are very over priced.

ok if you carry a screw driver a hammer and needle and cotton.

what can I say !very expensive for what you got.everything broken ,from a knife to the cold tap if not broken missing.i wanted a real lindian room a romantic notion in my head but camping came to mind so much.

You can find something better

A bit dirty, small and hot spaces, small table outside the room and shared and always in the sun, poorly equipped kitchen (nothing to wash the dishes and very few and dirty flatware), insufficient assistance (no reception, just an old lady who doesn't speak English), not enough hot water for two quick showers.
Surely quiet, but 20 minutes walk (with a significant declivity!) to the beaches.
Not a disaster, but maybe you can find something better.

Wonderful

we just knocked on the door looking for a room and the lovely lady of the house showed us a beautiful room, although it had no balcony there were plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade within the property. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed - just wish we could have stayed a little longer. Most certainly worth a visit - good location for getting around Lindos
