Good rest
The rooms are clean, no insects. Cleaning every day.The room is simple. Taps in the bathroom whistle, it is difficult to equalize the temperature of the water. I can not say that the rooms are quiet: we heard the neighbors at night in the next room. The big minus of the hotel is that you have to pay for everything: a refrigerator, safe, Wi-fi, air conditioning (except July and August), sun beds by the pool (!). Breakfast by the end of the week starts to bother. There is a pool for children and a jacuzzi. There is also a bar, but we did not use it. A Greek night is held at the bar every Sunday. Sandy beach. Sunset in the sea is very long and shallow. Kids will like it. From the hotel you can quickly reach the main street. There are many restaurants and shops around. Overall, the hotel is nice

Disaster.
Where to even start..
Came on a girls holidays, booked in March. Hotel is in an ideal location to be honest, not too close to the strip but only a 10-15 minute walk however thats about the only decent thing, hotel wasn’t cheap and we also paid extra for a sea view room.
-Arrived at the hotel to find out we’re on the ground floor facing some grass, some sea view!
-Rooms are quite dated but to be fair they were clean. However doesn’t come with anything it states it’s going to supply, hairdryers etc.
-Breakfast is pretty bland, that we ended up eating out 6/7 days.
-You have to pay for practically everything, air con if it’s not July, can only sit at the pool free of charge if your all inclusive?? You can also only get an ice cream if your under 12 years old
-The Wi-Fi barely works at all unless you sit in reception and there is barely any service in rooms either.
-They also took our passports at reception, which I’m unsure if it is normal or not but be prepared to hand it over.
-The “shower” isn’t a shower, it’s a bath with a shower head, with no shower head holder. The bath is also significantly small that the bath curtain almost sticks to you.
-Not really the ideal location for a girls/boys holiday, understandably you aren’t allowed to play music past 11pm to respect other residents but workers will still proceed to walk around and ask why you are not out even if your sitting quietly on your balcony/terrace and can often get quite angry.
However, overall we weren’t impressed with Laganas in general and think the town/nightlife as a whole is massively overrated.

Lackluster
Let's start with the good;
The location is hands-down incredible. Beach front hotel that's just a mere 5-10 minute walk from the strip. You can't fault it.
Personally I found the food to be decent. Breakfast looked appalling but the flavour was there. Lunch wasn't anything to rave about but the dinner had some nice options every night and each day was somewhat varied. Although the general consensus of my group of friends was that it wasn't great.
The jacuzzi style mini pool was amazing to hang out in, the pool was decent and there were plenty of sunbeds to go around.
That's about it for the good things...
I've never had such a hostile 'greeting' to a hotel in my life. The receptionist acted like we disrespected her just for setting foot into the hotel. The way she treated us was a joke. I've never asked for a name for negative reasons but Constantina should be fired for scowling at us, repeatedly swearing at us in her native tongue and explaining absolutely nothing about how the hotel works. Also they randomly decided to split the booking into half at astir beach and half at astir palace. We could still use both facilities as they are sister hotels, but how can they split a group of 11 people up into different places and think that's okay?
So this left a sour taste in my mouth, which was then amplified by the bum bag employee (didn't get his name) that repeatedly harrassed us for chilling in the jacuzzi I mentioned previously, calling it a 'baby pool'. This is ridiculous considering there is literally a children's suited pool situated 3 metres next to it, with all the children actively choosing to swim in that one.
Then one day we wake up and are refused service of alcohol despite having all-inclusive wristbands. Imagine, they blanket banned all under 25 year old males from drinking due to a fight that occurred when we were not at the hotel and we had no involvement in. It was only for a day but that is ridiculous. They provided no compensation whatsoever and it didn't stop anyone from drinking, everyone just brought their own alcohol that day.
The all-inclusive alcohol supplied is atrocious. It will leave your throat tattered by the 3rd day. At least they don't skimp out on portions, though. Vagellis (the man working the bar at night) was a good laugh and probably the best spirited person working at this establishment. Seriously, when you're on holiday, you don't want miserable ghosts around you.
The rooms were poor too. The beds were okay at best, no bins in the room, no shower head holder, a curtain that is way too close so it sticks on you. The AC was the best thing about the rooms. The cleaners were nice however.
Overall I would avoid this place. I highly regret coming here.

Quite good
Cleanliness of room and cuisine were better than I expected (for 3star hotel). Only two things for improvement - AC for free also in other months (not only july, august) and wifi for free. The best thing is location of the hotel - only 50m to the beach.

A bit grim really
When we arrived we were given the choice of two rooms but not allowed to see either until we had decided.. Bit odd? We didn't know where the lift was because its not a proper lift.. Its about 50 years old and dodgy as hell
Whrn we got to the room it stank of sewage and the aircon didn't work.
They ended up giving us a remote numbered for a different room so every time the cleaners came in they took the remote out of our room and we had to collect it from reception again
We had to pay €15 each for the WiFi.. Which didn't even reach our room.. The lady on reception gave us a refund after a few days but wasn't happy about it
The pool is nice but we couldn't get anything all inclusive at the pool bar which was a bit odd
No fridge or kettle in room even though fridge is advertised
Food was okay to start but by the end of the week it was just all the same.. All seasoned the same.. Booooring
Coffee was grim
Shower was hand held? Very hard to shower with one hand to be honest and the water wouldn't stay a reasonable temperature for more than 4 seconds..
