Very good location - be careful which apartment you choose.
The accommodation is conveniently located near the old town and the harbor. The apartment is clean, spacious, and features a well-equipped kitchen as well as plenty of storage space. Anyone looking for a functional vacation rental who enjoys cooking for themselves will find good conditions here.
Our disappointment arose primarily from the expectations we had based on the presentation on the booking platform. The deciding factor for our booking at the end of March was the numerous photos of the roof terrace, the balconies, and the beautiful harbor view. In connection with the name "Sea View Apartment," we assumed that this apartment also features a balcony or a terrace.
Only upon our arrival did we realize that the roof terrace belongs to a different apartment. The Sea View Apartment has neither a balcony nor a terrace. The sea view is limited to the view from one window.
The decor of the Sea View apartment appears rather classic overall and predominantly from the late 80s or 90s. The bathroom is also simply equipped. There is no electrical outlet, no shelf in the shower, and only three small adhesive hooks. The shower curtain is functional; the grout in the shower appeared partially discolored to us. Furthermore, the apartment is quite noisy – footsteps and noises from the apartment above were very clearly audible.
After our stay, we read another review in which a guest described a similar experience regarding the different apartments. From our perspective, the apartments could be more clearly distinguished from one another on the booking platforms so that future guests can better identify which amenities belong to the specific apartment booked.
Overall, the stay was okay, but we felt the price-performance ratio – especially at a price of €470 for three nights – was not quite right. Certainly appropriate for the modern apartment with a roof terrace - not suitable for the Sea View apartment on the 1st. floor.
With a clearer presentation and more modern furnishings, our rating could certainly have been higher.
