If I return to Rhodes I would always stay here
The rooms are not huge but are well maintained and very clean. The staff is very friendly and Mrs. Marietta and her husband are always present and color the atmosphere with kindness. Breakfast not plentiful but at the same time good and cared for, delicious Greek yogurt.

The worst experience of my life talking about overnight stay by booking I WRITE ON TRIP TO GIVE A REALISTIC VIEW OF THIS
Upon our arrival in the room we found the sheets folded on the bed and the mattress had only the mattress topper, so we had to make the beds on the first day, the door of the room was constantly making noise due to the wind and it always seemed that someone was knocking continuously without counting the whistles of the wind so soundproofing as per Reservation was not there, plus we had very disturbed sleep the first days between door and bed creaking.
As soon as we arrived we decided to take a shower and here I take over, we knew that the bathroom was not the best but time to get in the shower and soap me that I bang my knee against the cold water knob, I lose my balance and thanks to the gentleman that I kept myself who knows where I would be now, since attached to the showers there was the toilet that acts as an obstacle. As for the sink I am 1.80 and my girlfriend 1.60 and we both have to get down on our knees to brush our teeth because we hit several times our head against the shelf attached to the mirror, as if this shower of death was not enough finished the water did not come down from the shower drain and then the bathroom flooded to the point that the water entered the room up to under the bed and we talk about a shower of 5 minutes (even the suitcase below had been wet) then we went to the owners and explain the situation and they told us Are you hurt? And I for furtuna little and they eh well now you look good buy some wooden slippers so you do not slip.
So we went back to the room very agitated and went to dinner, back my girlfriend wanted to shower because first she failed because the bathroom was flooded (and on the day of the ceck in), time to smoke a cigarette that I go to the bathroom for personal matters and then leave the bathroom free for my girlfriend and I see that the door does not open, then without forcing it calmly we went to call the owners who from 00 to 1 in the morning hammered in two the door until they blew the lock and we stayed for the next day until the evening with the door smashed in without a handle that they then fixed the following day along with the door that made noise for the wind, but the problem is that my partner suffers from anxiety and panic attacks so it took me many hours to convince her to enter that bathroom because she was afraid of being stuck inside with the risk of flooding and slipping, we miss that he was having a panic attack and we had done bingo.
Then as for the safe that is not safe but safe moreover not in the room but in the hole where you do breakfast that in the evening at about 10.30 pm closes so you can no longer access and if you allow a hotel without cameras does not inspire much confidence.
Besides the keys to both the room and the safe we must have 24h with us because we were told that if we lose them is our problem and on booking was marked safe.
Hotel, FANTASTIC A DI BOOKING
But the reality is very different.
We found out to our cost that on Sunday they decided not to clean the rooms but no one had warned us so we paid a service that on booking is sawn daily, so in the evening back from the sea we went to ask why the room equipped with a tag indicating that you have to make it had not been cleaned and they told us Sunday we can not clean then we went before dinner to ask in various hotels in the area if it was a cultural issue and I will rest all no of course the cleaning service and 7 out of 7, only we in this hotel pay to make the beds ourselves not once but twice out of 10 days of accommodation.
They knew all the problems of the room but did not have the decency to solve them before our arrival, indeed if I did not go out loud to say to repair the door that knocked because it disturbed our sleep even they would have done it.
We knew that breakfast was not a 100-course funny but not even from 2 slices of cheese and two rotten olives with 6 containers with various coffee powders and chocolates, even at home I use nescaffe,
And things are left the blanket on the table until the following day apart from the Greek yogurt that would sour in an instant.
So in the morning with hunger and a hot tea in your body you go to the beach but not because we are picky because sincerely tomato cucumber and a feta that does not believe it enough are not a breakfast, moreover for us Italians.
We have relied on booking evaluations because past experiences have come in handy but this property rated 9 should not be ranked among the fabulous properties in the hotel search in feliraki.
After this mystical experience aimed at stressing us we started a fight to refund with booking talking several hours with even 3 different operators, to reach the conclusion that the structure denied us any kind of refund, without in the least admitting its own shortcomings and getting away with no impactful consequence
The top reviews you see, Surely they were written either by people who have never seen a HOTEL or by subjects who when they find themselves in a situation like ours make the understanding certainly not to have problems but that's not how you do it, who is good should be PRAISED AND WHO IS NOT... Beautiful holiday with Marieta and Jannis
Simple structure but there is everything you need and above all clean with daily linen change.
But the best thing are the managers, always kind and helpful who make you feel part of the family.
A special greeting to Giovanni who speaks a little Italian and who before leaving gave us a gift to bring to Italy

Lovely family and super clean rooms
We had a lovely time during our holiday at Marieta-Giannis. The rooms are super clean and the family is so sweet. If we come back at Rhodes, we will defenitly book one of their rooms again. Thank you so much for everything. Hope to see you again!!

Family run pension
Small family run pension very clean and friendly. Close to center (3min walk) but mire quiet than other places in faliraki and very good value for money. Very basic amenities but don’t need more as you spend most of the time outside. A/c in room at no extra charge but no tv. Breakfast included. You can park your car also.
Sound proof should be better but it’s an old building so … but still very very clean
