Stam is the best
Stam was absolutely amazing with out little one. Was nervous as we are first time parents on our first holiday but she played with our baby and made us feel so welcome. Our little one loved her and looked forward to seeing her everyday

We were disappointed with our stay overall. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with stunning flowers, and the main pool bar area is lovely. The à la carte restaurants were very good, and the evening entertainment was enjoyable.
Unfortunately, the hotel did not live up to the five-star standard or justify the premium price we paid. Our original room had ineffective air conditioning and a toilet that didn’t flush properly. Despite reporting these issues several times, they weren’t resolved until we were moved to a much better room, which we appreciated.
The buffet restaurant was disappointing and well below the standard we’ve experienced at similar hotels on other Greek islands. The beach bar felt tired and ramshackle, and although the resort is beautiful, it lacked any real atmosphere or holiday buzz. We also found it strange that the main bar near reception only opened in the evenings.
Other issues included no bottled water in the minibar on arrival, tired facilities, rubbish and cleaning carts left in corridors, and inconsistent service. We were also surprised that bar staff wouldn’t provide bottled water during the day in very hot weather.
Although changing rooms improved our stay, our overall impression remained the same. For the price we paid, we expected much better accommodation, facilities, food and service. Sadly, we wouldn’t return.

Blue Domes
After nine full days at Blue Domes we have the best to say!!! Excellent choices at the main buffe with tasty food!!! Clean and well-kept beaches and pools!!! The mornings we are at the main restaurant were very friendly and we felt like we were with our own people for breakfast!! Elizabeth made us feel special guests!!! Every morning she greeted us with a real smile full of love and Greek hospitality!!! We highly recommend it!!! ☺️☺️☺️

A true Warning
Please take this review seriously I’m not a fussy holiday maker, I’m just being honest. This hotel has recently fallen off a virtual cliff.
Kos is a belter of an island. We loved it overall. But Mitsis Blue Domes is A total disaster. Far too many hazards to overlook. If you’ve booked, call your holiday operator today. Pay the switch fee and go elsewhere you won’t regret it.
Photos can be so misleading – polished shots hide the truth, but get down to the gritty detail and you see the real side.
Violent sickness for my wife on day two, 4-5 hours of it, plus 36 hours recovering. Day five brought explosive diarrhoea my way so bad I ended up on the bathroom floor in agony. (See photo) Not just us – spotted three vomit piles: by the Italian restaurant, in the lobby, and on the beach.
Bottom pools? Genuine health risk – stagnant, murky water (photos prove it). This place needs health officials investigating; it’s a recipe for infections. Beach toilets were equally grim – filthy, (see photos). For an expensive 5-star, it’s an outrage.
Our block starting with room 100 was a nightmare. Hornets’ nest in the tree on the path to our block. Front entrance 12 feet from the main road, with buses roaring past constantly – the noise inside was like being on the other side of a dual carriageway barrier. To be fair it was ok at night, but the day was so busy and loud.
Food: buffet was ok. A la carte restaurants hit and miss – see photo of the Italian menu for a feel of how grubby the place is.
Staff were hit and miss. Loads whipped out phones at the first quiet moment, Bar hygiene was shocking: grimy counters, dirty glasses (pic of one bar attached that was closed during the day; couldn’t snap others with workers around). Gyros hut was a bright spot – the woman there was efficient, food tasted spot-on, but the man working there was not pleasant at all, also he just casually smokes a cigarette on the entrance door step to the gyros hut which is so off putting.
Drinks were dire. Beer: flat and foul. Cocktails: watery nonsense. Wine: sharp and undrinkable. Branded spirits? Rationed – after 2-3, it’s “finished,” and they hawk cheaper rubbish instead.
Water rationing was tight: two mini-bar bottles a day max. Needed more during illness? Beg the stock bloke or queue for a some in a manky plastic cup.
Some interesting smells around the place.
Maid was excellent, room always pristine. Gyros hit the mark, as said.
Hygiene and upkeep here are woeful. For the cost, it’s daylight robbery.
