Scuba diving and snorkeling offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding and mountain biking nearby. This smoke-free hotel features a restaurant, a poolside bar, and a seasonal outdoor pool. Self parking is free. Additionally, a children's pool and a 24-hour front desk are onsite. Sokol Resort offers 50 air-conditioned accommodations with safes and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to balconies. Premium satellite television is provided. Bathrooms include showers, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access. Housekeeping is provided daily. A children's pool and a seasonal outdoor pool are on site. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or nearby; fees may apply. The property is closed between October 16 and June 1.

Magical Recreation
The location of the hotel is also excellent - there are beautiful beaches nearby. We rented a car and we traveled around the island every day. Here you can really relax and enjoy your holiday.
We would love to return here again and confidently recommend Sokol Resort to all those looking for a peaceful, comfortable and enjoyable holiday in Crete.

The mistress's complaint!!!
Attention! Cheating tourists, food shortages and greed at Sokol Resort!
Don't make a mistake and don't waste your money on this hotel. They bought the advertisement about "family resort with free sunbeds and all inclusive", and in fact they got total savings on guests, hammy attitude and deception from the management (Galina's owner).
Here are the real facts, about which you will never tell tour operators .
Hunger and shameful fruit shortage: The all-inclusive system here is a sham. At dinner, expensive fruits (watermelon, pineapple) are cut in minuscule quantities and carried only to the opening. If you arrive 40–45 minutes after the start, empty trays await. New portions staff fundamentally fail to report, leaving only cheap apples and lemons. They make people who have paid huge sums of money for a trip fight for a piece of watermelon and beg for food from chefs!
Cheating with the beach and sunbeds: The tour description and vouchers say "beds included". On the spot, it turns out that the hotel was just greedy and didn't pay the beach rent to the municipality! The hotel guide blatantly lies to our eyes that we have to buy sunbeds with our cash (€10€15 a day), collect checks, and then the tour operator supposedly “will return that money someday”. It's a clean divorce, no one's paying anything back.
Terrible and dangerous entry into the sea: Damnoni Beach near the hotel and the adjacent Plakias Beach (which translates as "stove") are absolutely unsuitable for comfortable swimming. Underwater, a slippery, rigid stone tectonic plate with boulders and cracks runs along the entire shore. Legs fall sharply into large, quick gravel, and can easily be injured or dislocated. Without hard rubber corals, you can't go into the water. Plus, because of the incoming mountain river, the water near the bank is icy, in the morning it instantly cramps its legs.
This hotel is designed for a one-time tourist who wants to squeeze maximum money for one check-in. Beautiful views and nature, everything and crazy wind!!!Bypass Sokol Resort if you don't want to ruin your vacation for your own money!

On the downsides are simple and fairly uniform food, modest infrastructure and virtually no animation. The hotel is also secluded, with little entertainment nearby.
In general, this is a good option for those seeking peace and nature, but the hotel is a little short of a full level 4*.
