We had the best experience at Albergo Botti. The most helpful and kind staff, suggestions for excursions, great breakfast and a fantastic room with amazing aircondition.

great boutique hotel, perfect location with super clean modern rooms and very comfortable bed. the room had both espresso machine and hot water kettle along with free water. shower was good pressure, and nice (not cheap) soaps and lotion. Eva at reception was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations, and the breakfast was very good. would absolutely stay here again. no complaints at all.

A life-changing and life-giving property in Old Corfu Town

Albergo Botti is a beautiful gem in Old Town Corfu supported by family values and a truly caring staff. This property completely changed the trajectory of my travel experience in Corfu.
After being highly disappointed and misled in the Air BnB landscape of Old Corfu Town, I found myself without lodging for two nights as a solo female traveler in the height of the busy season, carrying 125 pounds of luggage through sweltering temperatures on cobblestone streets. By luck on a random internet search, I found an available room at Albergo Botti. Eva was responsive to my email inquiry within minutes, offering to welcome me for a tour of the available room.
The property is located within easy walking distance of the old city and the waterfront, yet removed enough to feel peaceful and calm. The building retains historic charm both inside and out, while being newly renovated, modern, exquisitely clean, and welcoming. The rooms are technologically savvy with all the bells and whistles - spacious, air conditioned, and full of amenities from a luxurious bed and down comforter to a refrigerator, robes, plentiful towels, hot showers, and adjustable shades. It was heaven after the nightmarish property I was scheduled to stay in initially.
There is an intimate breakfast served daily in the front lobby with a wide assortment of hot and cold items. The breakfast attendant was happy to offer me gluten free bread each morning, a much-appreciated token for a traveler with Celiac disease.
What stands out about this property the most, however, are the three lovely women who manage the front desk: Eva, Chrysanthi, and Marilena. All three of these saints worked to help me through two very difficult travel days from negotiating the disappointment of my prior property, to getting me settled in to the new property, to then helping when my husband's flights were cancelled and our trip to Albania was further delayed. No ask was too large - Chrysanthi was on the phone with the ferry company trying to help me rebook tickets. Eva was working on options for a late check out and storage of luggage. Marilena was checking in on my emotional state each night when she came for her shift. They became my local friends, as we visited and shared stories. It was lovely to get to know the personal side of the island through these kind and intelligent women. All of them spoke highly of the pride they held for their jobs and the amazing family who owns the property and treats them with dignity and respect.
I have traveled to over 80 countries, and my stay at Albergo Botti was one of the most meaningful and personalized lodging experiences I have ever had. I wish I'd discovered this place sooner so I could have spent more time with the staff. I hope to see them again some day!
Thank you, Albergo Botti, for making my summer memorable, safe, healthy, and for restoring my faith in human nature!
*My only recommendations are offered with nothing but respect and they include: sharing that the Internet connection in my actual room was very difficult to maintain. I had to come to the lobby to make video calls which were important when negotiating travel difficulties. More consistent connection throughout the building would be helpful.
Second, the photos of the property are slightly misleading causing potential patrons to believe there is a rooftop area for all guests when in fact, that rooftop is part of the penthouse room only. Transparency around this aspect of the property might be helpful for managing guest expectations.

This hotel was perfectly located just on the edge of old town/Corfu Town. You could walk a few blocks and be in the heart of the action ... including shops of all kinds, bars, restaurants ... and ice cream. On our last evening, we decided to walk down the alley in the opposite direction of the bay ... and it was a pleasant surprise. There was a quiet street lined with restaurants. It was a completely different experience than the "party zone." It was an area that appeared to have been more for locals than for tourists. It was nice to be away from the chaos [in a good way].
