A perfect getaway
The resort reminds me of a Centreparcs in that it's lots of bungalows with pools and facilities scattered around a large complex, with hardly any cars. There are chauffeured golf buggies which transport guests to the more remote locations and lots of pathways.
I counted 3x swimming pools, 3x restaurants, tennis and paddle board court (also suitable for football and volleyball), gym and a large private beach.
I cannot fault anything. The staff are awesome and really try to help. They're all absolutely lovely.
The bedroom we stayed in was beautiful. Well appointed, massive bed and impressive walk in shower.
The beach always had free beds. There's a bar, restaurant and ice cream parlour there.
The pools are fabulous with entertainment around the main pool.
The main restaurant was lovely. So much choice of fish and meat dishes as well as plenty of vegetable dishes and salads. Wine and drinks available or pop upstairs, to the main bar, for cocktails.
The location of the hotel, which faces due East, means the sunrises are beautiful.
At the beach, there's the option to hire a boat for a few hours - it worked out at €35 euros each for 3 hours (four people). Great way to explore the coast.
Meanwhile, the bus stop outside the hotel means the town is accessible for €2.50 per person in each direction.
The onsite gift shops are lovely and there's a supermarket outside the hotel, which stocks beach inflatables and tourism gifts.
During August, there were plenty of young people as well as grandparents accompanying the family holiday. Something for everyone.
It's difficult to find a negative. We all loved it.
Genuinely, this is a beautiful hotel. Enjoy.

Disappointing
Negative points: rooms not up to standard. Old and the daily cleaning insufficient. First day, the socket near the bed didn't work and the bathroom door couldn't be closed. We had to call maintenance to solve those two issues right on our very first day and on the spot and had to wait to use our room. Because of that we asked the price and availability of a luxury bungalow updating our room. Not only weren't they able to answer how much that would cost us, but also didnt get back to us about it ever since.
On other occasion they left our hotel door open after cleaning.
The Greek restaurant is horrible, the menu and the service. We left without eating dessert.
Every time we had a special request, the answer was a consistent NO.
We cant recommend this 4 star resort unless these issues as referred aren't important to you.
That said, we paid quite a lot per night and when asked for another bottle of water in the room we were told we needed to pay 2,80 per bottle in an All Inclusive resort!!!
Never coming back again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Aeolos Beach Resort – A Lovely Relaxing Stay
We’ve just returned from a really enjoyable stay at Aeolos Beach Resort and overall we were very impressed. The resort is beautifully clean and tidy, with lovely gardens, fantastic views and a really relaxed atmosphere.
️ Check-in & getting around
Check-in was very efficient, with a special mention to Barbara, who was excellent and made the arrival process quick and easy. Booking the two restaurants through the concierge was also very quick and straightforward. Checkout was equally as easy.
The resort is steep, but the golf buggies make getting around really easy. The buggy drivers were always very friendly and helpful, which made getting around the resort enjoyable.
We mainly used the Beach area and Relax Pool, which is for guests aged 14+. We always managed to find a sunbed, so there was never any need to get up early to reserve one. The Relax Bar was a lovely place to unwind, with a more peaceful atmosphere.
We didn’t really use the main family pool, although it looked great and never seemed particularly busy when we passed by.
️ Rooms
Our rooms were a good size, very clean and comfortable, with good-quality bathroom products that were regularly topped up.
Our room was very clean throughout our stay. We noticed that the rooms weren’t serviced on Sunday, which was absolutely no problem, but it would have been useful to know this in advance.
Food & drink
The food was mostly very good, with plenty of choice. The buffet at breakfast and dinner offered a good variety, although the food and entertainment seemed to operate on a weekly rather than fortnightly rotation, so there is some repetition if you’re staying for two weeks.
The beach bar was a particular favourite, offering a choice of pizza - no scrimping on the toppings, freshly made pasta again plenty of choice, lots of salad and ice cream. This offered a relaxed lunch by the sea. A special thank you to Chris and Simos, who were fantastic when making pasta at lunchtime — particularly the penne con pollo with caramelised onions.
The burgers and fries at the main restaurant were also a good option when we fancied something different when we were at the Relax Pool. A short walk back to the main hotel.
The Greek restaurant was very good, although the portions were huge! The main downside was the number of wasps around the restaurant, which did take away from the experience a little.
We also tried the Italian restaurant. It was more of a fine-dining experience, but unfortunately we didn’t enjoy it as much as we had hoped and ended up returning to the buffet afterwards. The portions were quite meagre.
The staff
One of the biggest positives of Aeolos was the friendly, welcoming and efficient staff.
At the beach bar, Spiros and Alexandra were always ultra friendly. A particular mention also goes to Sotiria, recognisable by her lovely silver necklace, and Gorgios, both of whom provided excellent service in the Beach restaurant.
Gerasimos at the main evening outdoor bar was always welcoming and friendly, while Giannis at the Relax Bar was another member of the team who made our stay enjoyable.
These individual members of staff really helped make our holiday special.
️ Beach & resort
The beach is stony, so beach shoes would be advisable. It’s only a short walk down but recommend a buggy on the way back. The beach is flagged as ‘blue’ and seemed clean as there were multiple varieties of fish close to the shoreline.
The resort itself is very well maintained, with beautiful gardens and fantastic views.
Entertainment
This was probably the biggest disappointment for us. We found the entertainment to be mostly poor, particularly compared with the quality of the rest of the resort.
The entertainment, like the food, appears to follow a weekly cycle, so during a two-week stay there is repetition.
⭐ Overall
Aeolos is a beautiful resort with stunning views, lovely gardens, good-sized rooms, good food and genuinely friendly staff.
The 14+ Beach area and Relax Pool were a particular highlight, offering a peaceful place to relax, and we never had any problem finding a sunbed.
The main negatives for us were the stony beach, repetitive weekly food and entertainment schedule, and generally disappointing entertainment.
Overall, we had a really relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would happily recommend Aeolos.
A special thank you to Barbara, Chris, Simos, Spiros, Alexandra, Sotiria, Gorgios, Gerasimos and Giannis, as well as all the friendly buggy drivers, for their excellent service and for helping make our stay extra special. ❤️
