A unique experience

Very nice rooms in great location!!! The whole old town at your feet. Incredible view of both the sea and sunset and the pedestrian road from the balcony. The beach of the new country is very close on foot. Tips the owner's kitten....

Very unprofessional man

very unprofessional man .I wanted to make monthly rent it was all settled.

Disappointing stay

My review is not as positive as many of the others however I will try to stayed just the facts. The room was rustic and quite charming, especially the window shutters and small balcony just outside the room. There were two rooms, one with two single beds the others with a double and this is the room with a kitchenette and the bathroom. There was a foul smell and we noted that the kitchen rubbish bin was full of mouldy rubbish although this was emptied when I bought it to the owners attention. The dishes were not put away from the previous occupant and when I emptied I noted that the dish drainer was dirty as was the kitchen bench. The rubbish bin in the bathroom, where all of the toilet paper goes, was not emptied the entire stay (yes we changed the bin but the rubbish wasn’t taken away). The single bed I used was horrendously uncomfortable with springs sticking up the entire way - see picture. As the pension is on one of the busiest thoroughfares into the old town and the 4 of the rooms are on the street, some travellers may find it too noisy - I’m up at 6am so it didn’t bother me but the noise does start from then. Loved the rustic nature of the apartment but would not return nor recommend to friends.

Great place in the old town of Chania

Very nice little hotel in the old town of Chania. There are two shared balconies. The view from the upper one was fantastic. It was especially nice to watch the sunset from there. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The owner was very friendly and very helpful. If you prefer little hotels with lots of charm, this is the right place to stay!

Comfortable rooms with stunning views

Pension Nora is a nicely converted, recently refurbished Venetian merchant’s house, with stunning sea views from the balconies.
It was clean, comfortable, with fridge, kettle, tea, coffee and there was a little shared kitchen on the landing.
Situated in Chania OldTown, Nora is surrounded by excellent restaurants, bars, interesting shops, including a little supermarket.
Very hospitable, welcoming host.
We greatly enjoyed our stay, but advise that disabled guests and anyone with limited mobility will find steep, original staircase very challenging.
