Lovely owners, and a very clean apartment with a comfortable bed. Room had free water in the fridge, and Raki. The apartment complex is right on the beach, and I felt very safe walking back at night (I travelled alone). A great place to stay for a relaxing beach break!

Excellent base for visiting the island

The hotel is beachfront so close that at night you can hear the sound of the waves. It has a private beach with the possibility to rent umbrella and deck chairs. Clean, with all amenities. Each room has a private terrace overlooking the sea. The sea in front is not the top but it is fine if you want to spend a day of rest maybe all arrived. It has no breakfast nor lunch nor dinner but has everything in the room (kettle, hotplate, toaster pots etc.). To be used as a base for exploring the island. Private parking space
Not very easy to find at first. When you arrive at the restaurant “sonio” look up and you will see the sign.

NOT as expected, check before you go!

We booked a week in the Katerina in June 24 and were given a studio in the adjoining rooms, the Leonardis on arrival. There was only a hand held shower there, the hob was rusty and no toiletries apart from hand wash. Very disappointing! Needs lots of TLC and modernising. Perhaps the Katerina is better but we didn’t get a room there!

Wonderful rooms and friendly service.

A nice little hotel very close to the sea with a nice beach. Wonderful view from our balcony. The pictures correspond well to reality. Pleasant hospitality from the host and hostess. The room was well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal. Capsule maker, frying pan, hob, toaster, etc. Very clean, fresh and tidy. Comfortable beds where we slept well. We would love to return here. We have had a wonderful stay.

Didn't get the room that was booked

This rating is based on the fact that we did not get the room that was ordered. Hotels are fine, good location, cozy, well-equipped kitchen and cleaned every day.
We had booked on Hotel.com a: Standard studio apartment - sea view
Hotel.com had the following rooms available for booking:
Economy studio apartment - ground floor
Standard studio apartment
Standard Studio Apartment - Sea View
Family studio apartment - garden view
We were given an Economy studio - ground floor and immediately told the host. He said they didn't have any economy rooms, even though Hotel.com did!
There was no sea view when you sat down on the terrace. The description of the room, that it was on the ground floor, is not correct, it was below the ground level (see picture) He could not change it as everything was booked.
Look at the pictures, the red marking is the room we got, and the green marking is the room we SHOULD have had.
What has happened, we do not know, but it is the allocation of the room by the hotel host is not correct. We cannot see that Hotel.com has made a mistake.
It is not right that you do not get the room you have booked, it was booked on 1 March 2023.
Furthermore, there is a price difference of DKK 470 (approx. 61 EURO) for the two rooms on Hotel.com.
We always prioritize getting a room at height, with a good sea view and would like to pay for this, so it was disappointing to get a room below ground level, with virtually no sea view.
