One of the nicest places we have stayed in Greece. The balcony room overlooking the beach and water was beautiful and relaxing. Antonella made us feel welcome. We slept some good. Highly recommend.

Simple, spotless, and beautifully located

We stayed at Galini Beach Hotel in Kissamos and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is simple, but extremely clean and well kept.
Its location is excellent, especially for visiting some of the most beautiful beaches in Crete, such as Balos and Elafonissi. The hotel is right by the sea, and breakfast is served almost on the beach, which makes the atmosphere very peaceful and special.
Breakfast is simple, but very good and well organised. The stretch of sea in front of the hotel is also lovely.
The staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive. They helped us with several requests and were always ready to assist.
The hotel has a quiet, old-fashioned charm, almost like a small 1920s-style seaside hotel, with a simple but elegant atmosphere. Overall, it is a very good choice for those looking for cleanliness, kindness, a strategic location, and a peaceful stay by the sea.

My husband and I return to Galini Beach Hotel year after year, and it never disappoints! From the delicious homemade breakfast enjoyed with breathtaking sea views, to the spotless rooms and genuinely welcoming staff, every detail makes us feel at home. Its location is perfect, just minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Crete. If you’re looking for peace, relaxation, and authentic Cretan hospitality, this is the place to be!

Dated, poorly isolated and impersonal

We stayed here for 1 night. We were received by a very nice receptionist with a drink of your choice and a huge slice of cake.
The hotel is bare and impersonal. The corridors are reminiscent of a monastery or a hospital from the 60s.
Room is spacious with a wooden crib. There is also a kitchen with fridge and 2 hotplates.
Breakfast is fine. All the staff are very bad.
At 23:45 suddenly noise and music started outside.
Everything that's said in the hallway you hear. The hotel is extremely noisy.
Breakfast is surrounded by concrete slabs.
 Also the terrace where breakfast is is an uncozy concrete plain
