Traditional houses in the very centre of the islandt

Quiet cosy refurbished traditional houses in the small Village of
Aroniadika. We stayed here twice, once seven years ago and we returned this summer and It was both times a great experiece: the hosts are very kind and friendly, first time we were there they took us on a visit around their beautiful farm.
.The houses of stones are clean and well equipped, fresh, completely silent and comfortable. They all have a small courtyard outside and some of them a little terrace too.
The tiny village is in an Ideal position to visit Kithira being located in the centre of the island, so that every morning you can choose a different destination reachable in not more than half an hour. Nearby a big supermarket, a couple of nice taverns, one of them being a very traditional cafeteria, and a retailer of exquisite kitherian honey.
Moderate prices. Higly recommended

Could have been perfect...

We stayed in a wonderful renovated two-storey house which had objects (kitchen, table...) that should not be used due to wear. The bathroom, the towels and the sheets were clean! More generally, however, there was a picture of abandonment... we assumed the house was not yet ready for the new season!

Disappointing.

Its benefits do not justify its price in any case. Very disappointing. Clean though but with almost no supply.

Great island, great accommodation

In order to enter in kytherian style of living, you must spend few days in a traditional place. That's why we choose Axion Houses. We were a group of 8 and we stayed in Gligoras, Lanos, Kamari and Kamarakia2. The spaces impressed us by simplicity and good taste, living old greek style but enriched with all you need. The smell of authenticity emerges you in an ancient story about gods and goddesses.
Aroniadika is one of the best preserved village and Dimitri, the owner, has managed to give those houses a new life.
The hosts were incredible with their hospitality, we had a gorgeous evening at the family farm with Yannis and Maria. And what can I say about traditional food, made in clay oven by Lia? You definitely must try it!
We spent 8 days, too short for discover all Kythera can offer to you!

Εξαιρετικό Παραδοσιακό Κατάλυμα!

Εξαιρετικό κατάλυμα, σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, καθώς όλες οι παραλίες, αξιοθέατα και η χώρα , βρίσκονται σε απόσταση 15-20 λεπτών max.
Το σπίτι είναι πεντακάθαρο , παραδοσιακό, πολύ ήσυχο και δροσερό, παρόλο που δεν υπάρχει air-condition(υπάρχει ανεμιστήρας οροφής και δαπέδου).
Επίσης πακέτο με το κατάλυμα έρχεται μια πολύ όμορφη αυλή και μια ταράτσα με εξαιρετική θέα στο χωριό.
Εννοείται ότι θα το επισκεφθούμε ξανά στο άμεσο μέλλον, αρκεί να διατηρηθούν οι υπηρεσίες στο ίδιο ή και ακόμα καλύτερο επίπεδο , καθώς και οι τιμές να παραμένουν στα ίδια λογικά επίπεδα.
