Value for Money Hostel

Value for money hostel accommodation in central Athens, 5-minute walk away from the train station (Victoria Station), plenty of cafes in the area. You will read reviews on the area not being safe but my personal take is it should largely depend on the traveler on how they carry themselves as they roam the places they travel to. Friendly staff, clean rooms and bathrooms. We have stayed twice after coming back from Rome due to the accessibility of the place.

Discrimination against people with more than 45 y.o

This Hostel did discrimination against me because of my age or the color of my skin . I been there after take the address in booking.com , when I was doing the reservation the receptionist asked my age , I answered 48 y.o and she said yhat I'm not allow to stay there because im old, and she blocked my reservation in her computer and I was not allowed to do the reservation In booking. This is a shame.and humiliation , how can be posible place for travellers make discrimination for the age, I travelled in 52 countries on the world and this never happened , but in Europe now this is posible. So, nobody can became old , better die young .

Good for price

Not the fanciest, outdated but comfortable. Small bathrooms. Enjoyed personal ac control. Staff very helpful. Great location, 2mins from metro. Many restaurants in the area. Would recommend for a short stay.

Poor place for unassuming people

The only positive thing is friendly staff. The location coud be convenient, but the area seems unpleasant and unsafely. In fact, it is a typical cheap wretched hostel for a 1-2 night staying. The main thing is that photos on hostelworld/booking/etc. doesn’t fit with reality. So don’t expect too much.

Not a backpacker hostel

The hostel had families living with their groceries occupying most of the room. The form room was relatively small. The location is close to Victoria station and is close to central Athens by walk or metro.
