Excellent and highly recommend!

I had a fantastic solo stay for one night before a cruise at The Hera Hotel. The smaller sized room overlooking the back was absolutely fine for my one night. It had a Juliet balcony and really was very comfortable! Bathroom was really nice as well! The staff was so nice and accommodating. The breakfast was extensive and in a gorgeous room. I would highly recommend this hotel for so many reasons 1) customer service 2) great breakfast 3) value and mainly , 4) location. It doesn’t get any better. Steps from Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum as well as restaurants / cafes and shopping. Very safe area. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Boutique means small in this hotel

Location good but that is all. The hotel is definitely not a 4*. It is advertised as a boutique hotel, small maybe but not boutique. The room was tiny and the bathroom needs a revamp.The rooftop bar has a fabulous view but little else. It was drab, lacking any atmosphere. Very disappointed.

Great location with comfortable accommodations

Wonderful stay at Hera Hotel Athens. The hotel has a charming old Europe feel, an excellent location near the Acropolis and metro, and beautiful views from the rooftop restaurant. A perfect base for exploring Athens.

Love the location of the Hera hotel, very walkable to everything. Also had a wonderful dinner at their Peacock Rooftop restaurant and bar! The views were amazing. We also had their white peacock house wine and it paired well with the lamb. The waiter was also very good and he took pictures of us with the Acropolis in the background. Excellent maid and breakfast staff as well.
