Greek hospitality
This is the place to stay in Amorgos, if you really want to feel what Greek hospitality means. Dimitris and Ivon will do whatever they can (and sometimes even more...) to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Breathtaking views to the Aegiali bay, magnificent fresh breakfasts with local ingredients and a big smile from this friendly couple, will make your stay unforgettable. Amorgos is a very beautiful island. Your stay in Theoreion will make it even better!

Hospitality, Cleaningness and breathtaking view
Excellent apartment with a breathtaking view of Aegiali bay and Amorgos mountains!. The hospitality of the owners was unforgettable! The veranda and the amenities were above average. Quiet but close to Tholaria and Aegiali port.

We loved watching you discover that perfect coffee spot on the veranda each morning and seeing your reaction when you realised how the mountains frame the bay differently throughout the day. There is something special about knowing you experienced the real Amorgos. Close enough to explore Tholaria's hidden paths and catch the morning boat from Aegiali, but far enough away to hear only the wind and waves.

We will never forget!
If you love to spend your holiday in harmony with nature, to eat organic and naturel food directly from your hosts’ garden, to feel free, and if you do not like to be disturbed by someone, and if you love to observe the beautiful landscapes, if you love tranquality, silance etc. ... If... Theoreion is the best place for you.

Not everyone comes to Amorgos looking for silence, for that feeling of being one with the landscape, for breakfast that tastes like it grew in the soil beneath your feet. But you took time to really look at things instead of rushing past them. That matters more to us than any five-star rating. The fact that you felt free and undisturbed tells us we get the balance right more often than not. We learned long ago that real hospitality sometimes means knowing when to disappear!

The meaning of Philoxenia
Beautiful rooms with stunning view. Sparkling clean. Very close to Aegiali (restaurants , bars and grocery stores) and beaches . But the greatest and most unforgettable feature is the hospitality of the owners. Mrs Sofia will wake up early in the morning to prepare breakfast with materials from her garden and her brother's farm, Mr Giorgos is always willing to share stories from the history and tradition of Amorgos, and Dimitris and Yvonne to give you all the useful tips.

Sofia's 6 AM ritual in the garden still amazes all of us. She insists the tomatoes and herbs taste different when picked at dawn, and watching guests' faces when they taste that first bite of breakfast tells us she is right. And Giorgos really does light up when guests show genuine curiosity about the old Amorgos and our traditions, especially if you catch him in full storytelling mode!
What moved us most, was seeing you embrace the slower rhythm here. You understood that philoxenia happens in those quiet morning moments on the terrace, in the conversations that stretch long after the coffee gets cold, in the way Sofia always makes extra breakfast in case you want to take some with you to the beach! This is exactly why we do what we do. Thank you for letting us share our Amorgos with you.
