Idyllic stay!

We spent 10 very pleasant days in this boutique hotel. Small, quiet property with welcoming, smiling, and attentive staff. Very clean room with a sea view. Quality dining. Nice bar. Ideal sea access (bring water shoes). Relaxing pool. The ideal setting to relax and very well located for visiting many wonderful sites. By personal car Chania, Preveli Beach, Lake Kournas or on an excursion planned by O voyages presented by our contact person Mélina, to the Balos lagoon... a marvel! We recommend it!

Renovated and beautiful

The Maravel Star art is a really nice hotel. It is not too small and not too big, directly st the beach and it was renovated last year. The rooms are really cute. We got one with ocean and pool view and the balcony was so big. Some nights there were karaoke nights which were so fun. If you are looking for a hotel in Rethymnon i can only recommend this. They even decoratef the room for my husbands birthday as a surprise

Top-notch!

Everything was perfect! We spent 7 nights there. This hotel is really top top top! The rooms are very, very clean; hats off to the cleaning staff. The food is good and varied; we were able to taste the local specialties. The only small downside is the breakfast drinks: coffee and orange juice could be improved.
The staff, oh let's talk about the staff: they are all top-notch, really all smiling, friendly, very welcoming, and very efficient; a special shout-out to Valentin, an excellent server!
Top hotel! You can go there with your eyes closed.

We expected much better.

We spent a week in this hotel.
Be careful not to arrive too late because the Catering Service is until 9pm.
We had I think one of the most beautiful rooms with a large terrace facing the pool the other rooms are very small and not necessarily well placed Luckily because otherwise what a disappointment.
l hotel is located in the middle of nowhere . there is a road just behind with some tourist shops but nothing else . The beach is very ugly coarse sand and gray with rocks which makes swimming very difficult . so I did not take the risk of venturing into the water . People who are not from the hotel cross with children and use the hotel deckchairs . so adult only does not mean much . The restaurant is bad and repetitive it looks like the canteen , always the same and really tasteless. The parking is too small and we can barely park 10 cars . we had to go home early to be sure of a place . In short a clean but disappointing hotel for its environment. The staff is unpleasant , apart from the Welcoming , the waiters are dressed any way often in jacket and without a pleasant word for the guests . they are at the bar and smoke without caring for the guests . In short, very limited. The main dining room is cold and without decor of an absolute sadness fortunately there is the arbor close to the beach to eat. We were disappointed and only stayed at the hotel for the night.
