Great accommodation!!

Had an overnight stay with several people. Everything worked out very well. Staff was super friendly and breakfast totally delicious. We will definitely come back. Were close by at an Asian meltlimb, which also tasted great.

First of all, Zeitz isn't booming like it did at some time. And the hotel Max has had to cut back.
The hotel is old, so am I; it works, so do I. It needs some help.
No Lunch or Dinner in the well-appointed dining room that must have been hopping in better days. There was an awesome restaurant 2-3 minute walk away.
Now for Breakfast. €8 for not much. I am Gluten and Lactose Intolerant. They did have Gluten Free Bread, as most stores in Europe do a good job with that. I didn't get a lot. They made scrambled eggs for me, but I could have enjoyed a bit more on my plate. The Jams/Jellies were good, although small selection. The cheeses and sliced meats looked tired.
I went away a bit hungry. It is eastern Germany after all. They seemed shocked that I didn't drink coffee nor tea. Never have.
Room was comfortable, TV worked, WiFi worked.
Price could have been a few Euros lower for a solo traveler, staying more than a day or two. I went for a Genealogy purpose, and that was satisfied.

Pretty good hotel

This hotel is pretty good but don't expect the top of the line. The beds were good, bathrooms good, restaurant was very good. The room had an old TV, and no phone. Internet is OK from the second floor to the lobby but not adequate on the second and third floors. No parking garage but adequate outdoor parking. A pretty good breakfast buffet for 7 Euros. No working elevator when we were there. People were nice and spoke a moderate amount of English. You could get a beer anytime at the restaurant bar.

Great value !

Very nice hotel with own parking area and very spacious rooms. Perfect beds for a good night sleep. Friendly hospitallity and plenty choice for breakfast. Be carefull with the shower. It is very powerfull. Great value for money !

Sehr freundlicher sympathischer Empfang, Zimmer zur Auswahl, sehr sauber, freundliche Farben und Einrichtung, Beratung für Abendessen in Stadt. Zimmer zum Innenhof schön kühl. Matratze äußerst angenehm.
Wenig Autoverkehr, aber Kopfsteinpflaster.
Wer Ottfried Preußlers Kleines Gespenst kennt, darf sich in Zeitz wie in Eulenburg fühlen, wenn das Glockenspiel vom Rathausturm sanft über die Dächer schwebt.
Kl. Manko: Rezeption schließt sehr früh. Dann Anruf nötig. Das Schnaufen, Räuspern des Zimmernachbarn war morgens störend.
