Excellent small hotel in the heart of Worms

Great location, very friendly staff. The hotel is cosy and clean, breakfast at €5 is a bargain and great to sit outside and have a beer. Rooms could do with Aircon but the weather is not the fault of the hotel. Fan provided was great and adequate. We will return C & L

Centrical hotel in Markplatz

The hotel is very well-located, in the Markplatz. I arrived vey late in the hotel and the staff explained me before in an e-mail how I can catch keys and go to the room. The room has all you need to stay one night. The breakfast was included and it was very good.
On the other hand, The rate price/quality is expensive. The room is little and old.

Very disappointing

The photos do not give an accurate impression of this small, old-fashioned hotel. One enters straight from the street up steep stairs with a worn carpet. Vey dangerous for the eldelry even without luggage. My room was tiny and faced direct into flars across a narriow street. There was a strip light behind the curtain (!) and a poor bedside light. The walls were wafer thin and there was no working extractor in the bathroom. The reception was closed from 11-3 each day. The breakfast was very average but there was no space in the room for more. The advertised restaurant had not been open since July. Wi fi poor.

Bad choice

We had booked this hotel thru a well-known booking agency. When we got there, we were taken aback by the entrance: steep steps straight up from the street, not clean and quite worn. On the first floor the was the reception and the rooms on that floor just steps away. The description of the room on the confirmation says, ‘City view” but the only window of our room was in front of a blind wall less than 2 m away and 3 stories high. When we complained about this the manager/owner said this was because we asked for a quiet room and those were all in the back. After some discussion we said we would keep the room but were still unhappy after which the owner warned us not to lodge a complaint with the booking service as is was not her fault but ours! This led to more complaining and unpleasantness resulting in us leaving the hotel altogether. The hotel manager really has no idea how to treat customers and how to resolve disputes. On top of all that was the overall appearance of the hotel extremely far removed from the photo-shopped pictures at the booking service. The price, € 100 for a 2-star hotel of this quality, without parking, is utterly scandalous. We found another hotel in the centre, 4-star this time, for € 110 including private underground hotel parking.
Feel free to use this hotel if you want, but don’t say you haven’t been warned!

Convenient location with Great hospitality

The hotel is in a very convenient location in the heart of the city.
The staff are very friendly and considerable , addressed every single special request we had and always willing to help!
Bathrooms need some attention , but over all great stay.
