Golf weekend with dog

We had a golf double room with beautiful views of the golf course Bodensee-Weissensberg. The room is clean, tidy and spacious enough for a short trip with (great!) Dog. Everyone is extremely friendly and the restaurant offers a high culinary standard. In addition to the in-house golf course, Lindau Bad Schachen is also perfectly accessible.
We will definitely come back for a weekend and 36 holes!

The golf course was very good but with a few strange holes to say the least. Pace of play was very slow with most of the members appearing not to understand basic golf etiquette and refusing to pick-up when they could not score. (One lady took 15 shots on a par 4! - painful!)
There were only 3 rooms occupied during our 2 night stay, dinner and lunch was very poor and the breakfast offerings appeared to roll on from one day to the next.
No staff at all appeared on the 2nd day, and only 1 person the first.
Room furnishings were extremely basic - not even IKEA standard.
Would return for golf at a push, but not the hotel.

For months, we had booked the hotel for three days of golfing. We had booked a terrace room and received confirmation of this. The room assigned to us was on the first floor with a slant and no view of the golf course. When we complained about this, we were told that there were no terrace rooms at all. Only after involving the manager were we graciously offered a terrace room. However, this was at a significantly higher price than in the confirmation. After a conversation with the manager, the confirmed price was then demanded.
The hotel room was very nice with a magnificent view of the golf course. However, the accommodation exuded the charm of the 1980s, particularly regarding the furniture and bathroom.
It is worth mentioning the extremely difficult communication during the booking process, as no one was reachable by phone for days, and the emails were also processed very late.
All in all, it is a hotel that does not match a leading golf course. The price-performance ratio was, in any case, unacceptable for us. When we play again on the very beautiful and well-maintained golf course, we will certainly not stay in this hotel.

Beautiful autumn weekend

We were able to spend a wonderful weekend at the Golfhotel Bodensee. The place was clean and has absolutely met our expectations. The staff were very friendly.

Great golf course to play

Very good golf course but would advise booking in advance. Very clean hotel and good quality food. Staff very helpful and welcoming
