Excellent service and location

Service by the staff is excellent. They are friendly and helpful. Rooms are quaint and cozy, good breakfast and coffee. This location is perfect. Literally a few minutes walk to the sea, and in the middle of shopping and good cafes and restaurants.

Not recommended.

Small, cramped rooms, no elevator due to structural reasons, and exiting the narrow shower into the tiny bathroom is difficult, posing a risk of falling. The summit: a follow-up booking made despite the shortcomings was canceled without explanation. Conclusion: Never again.

Completely satisfied

There are absolutely no negatives. Inexpensive, good breakfast, very central and quiet. Plus a super friendly staff. What more could you want?

A breath of fresh air at the Hotel Gutenberg

The team was “refreshed” and new ideas implemented. A breath of fresh air at the Hotel Gutenberg in Westerland.
Breakfast has improved: fresh, crisp rolls, cold cuts, cheese and salads, fresh scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt and cereal - all served lovingly and invitingly.
The staff is young and dynamic, you can tell they enjoy the work.
And the location in Friedrichstrasse is of course perfect.
We come regularly, but now with even more anticipation!

Awesome experience

We were a couple of friends staying at this beautiful place for one night in wonderful weather in start august. We had a great day, booked three rooms with a lovely balcony with an epic main street view.
I was so stupid, that I forgot my favorite sunglasses at the hotel, which they returned by postal package to my private home adress in Denmark three weeks late. Thank you so much! Hugs or knuckle, you decide!
