Excellent Holiday Apartment

We stayed for a week in the smaller of the two holiday apartments at the top of this hotel. The apartment was very comfortable, plenty of room for two people. Nice bathroom with a large shower, fantastic views from the living room and you could hear the local narrow guage steam trains whistle! Cooking facilities were fine for breakfasts and cold meals, but probably a bit difficult if you were set on cooking a large dinner. Free wifi.
The hotel staff were great, very friendly and helpful, always happy to chat and make suggestions for trips out.
Plenty of parking.
The location is a short distance out of the main old town, about a ten minute walk in through pleasant back streets.

Kurzurlaub im Harz

Die Kommunikation mit dem Inhaber des „Jagdhaus“ erfolgte überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Durch das Deponieren des Zimmerschlüssels in einem Schlüsseltresor erfolgte die Anreise ohne Zeitdruck und sehr entspannt. Das gebuchte Zimmer (Doppelbett) war sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Der Fernseher verfügte sogar über Sky. Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend, sodass man keinen Straßenlärm hört. Dementsprechend entspannt und erholsam schläft man auch in den nicht zu weichen und nicht zu harten Betten. Es wird zwar kein Frühstück mehr angeboten aber die Innenstadt mit mehreren Bäckern und einem sehr guten Konditor mit Frühstücksbrunch ist in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch zwei Supermärkte sind lediglich drei Gehminuten entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Lækkert hotel

Vi bestilte sent, men alligevel fik vi en imponerende fin velkomst og betjening af ejeren, som havde nået at udarbejde informationer om både praktiske forhold på hotellet og om byen og dens seværdigheder.
Værelset var stort og velindrettet med forventede faciliteter. Morgenmaden levede op til forventningerne med er rigt udvalg af tilbehør.
Hotellet ligger i et stille villakvarter og jeg tror derfor, at alle værelser er uden støj fra trafik mv.

schöne alte Villa in guter Lage, in 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt, Parkmöglichkeit am Grundstück, freundlicher Empfang, hübsches Zimmer, gutes Frühstücksbuffet, Karten für die Brockenbahn im Haus erhältlich

Ruhiges Domizil

Waren mit der Familie für ein paar Tage hier im Umland zum Urlaub. Das Hotel liegt gute 10 Minuten Fussweg zur Innenstadt - sehr ruhig gelegen. Hier hört man nachts keinen Piep. Das Frühstück ist ok und man wird satt. Zimmer und Bad sind sauber.
