We were very satisfied.

We were very satisfied; the breakfast was very good and sufficient, and the staff was very accommodating, even when there were occasional communication problems. Just ask if you do not understand something correctly.

Maybe it was 5 stars once, now max 3

Accommodation okay so far. A screen door would be nice.
Park is spacious and beautiful.
Many things in disrepair. Outdoor pool/swimming lake not usable. Restaurant snack offerings at restaurant prices.
None of it is worth 5 stars

Great environment, poor food

The rooms and the surroundings are quite fine. Breakfast boring with bake-off bread and cheap juice. Coffee in the cans cold. It was quite difficult to communicate with the good Thai staff who understood German or English poorly. Café Cheval Blanc serves really boring coffee food, such as frozen pizza. This is to great irritation as the castle is located apart. Sad that the level of ambition is not higher in such a place.

Sufficient because of the not so pleasant location and privacy

We stayed in one of the chalets. Very nice clean cottages, everything fairly new. Bedrooms have air conditioning, unfortunately no air conditioning in the living room / kitchen. Bedrooms are located upstairs and are only accessible via an open spiral staircase. Downstairs in the living space are all windows down to the floor. There are no blackout curtains and that is a serious minus, especially if you have a dog with you and also if you just want some rest during the day.
We were in the farthest part of the park on the side of the Sydow road. The cottages are very close to that road and heavy tractors drive up and on there from early in the morning (noise and drive fast). There is no security for children or dogs to that road, in a few seconds you are in the middle of that road. Surely a fence should be placed there, at a holiday park you do not expect to step outside and can be run over

Smelly, cheap looking, terrible restaurant and not at all castle-like. Expect more a cheap amusement park for the kids. Real nice animals though, and good service.
But seriøst… for the price - not at all worth it!
