Great cake and a lovely spot by Lake Tiefwarensee.

We were not in the hotel, but in the associated café. The tastiest cakes/pies from the in-house bakery. Very good coffee, served by friendly people. The showcase garden with cacti and orchid greenhouse is in top shape and worth a visit even without cake. A beautiful spot by Lake Tiefwarensee.

one night in a magnificent room

On the way home from New Year's Eve holiday at the Baltic Sea stopover at the müritz .....very friendly reception at d. Reception....top rooms get....top beds...good breakfast.all wonderful.................................................................

Beautiful house near old town

The hotel is located directly on the Tiefwarensee with a beautiful and well-kept garden.
Our comfort room was very clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a bathtub, which made it a little more difficult for guests with mobility restrictions to take a shower in the morning.
The staff is friendly. The breakfast is excellent.
The price/performance ratio is right.

Insider tip in Waren Müritz

Our first choice in Waren:
The Hotel Am Tiefwarensee was an excellent choice.
Two beautiful old houses, we stayed in the main building under the roof. The room was very large and pleasantly cool even in the high temperatures in July.
The hotel is nestled in a magical, very well-kept show garden right on Lake Tiefenwaren. You can relax wonderfully there with a direct view of Waren's old town and the two churches.
The hotel works with the Lebenshilfe Werk, the employees are very friendly & courteous and do an excellent job.
The service staff were remarkably professional and friendly in every move and when addressing the guest. Many thanks for that.
The breakfast was top notch, we booked the evening menu on the last evening, also very delicious.
Particularly noteworthy is the small café that is run by the employees in the breakfast room of the hotel in the afternoon, the cakes and pastries are homemade on site by the employees.
The rooms have a minibar and desk and thanks to the free WiFi it is easy to go online. A bright red elevator "speaks" to the guests.
There are plenty of free parking spaces directly at the house.
Waren Müritz can be explored on foot from the hotel, as parking fees at the harbor have risen sharply since 2021.
On rainy days, the Müritzeum is a good alternative and highly recommended.
Please visit Dat Tortenhus, the wait at the entrance is definitely worth it!
Enjoy your stay at the Hotel Am Tiefwarensee and explore the wonderful lakes in the area and everything Waren has to offer.

Very nice location

We were in the inn's garden and had coffee and cake there. The view of the botanical garden was fantastic, the cake was sensationally good (gooseberry meringue). It is a property of the Lebenshilfewerk, which also provided the waiters. They were very friendly.
