A little gem on the Main – warm and perfectly managed

I was very lucky to stay in this small, family-run hotel – and it was wonderful all round! The welcome was warm and loving, you feel immediately welcome. The rooms are designed with great taste and attention to detail, extremely clean, quiet and well equipped.
I would particularly like to highlight the breakfast: Everything your heart desires – fresh, varied and presented with great care.
Here you can immediately notice: The hosts run their hotel with real passion. A place to feel good and come back!

Small and fine hotel in Suzfeld am Main

The Hotel Bernard in Sulzfeld am Main is still relatively new. Obviously, it is an old wall that has been renovated. This has been extremely successful. The hotel’s entire interior is a mix of cosiness, modernity and looseness. Very successful for our taste. We also like the casual approach when you immediately move on to "their/you". Our room on the second floor (no elevator, but the offer to help with luggage) was nice and bright and had incl. hairdryer everything you need. Personally, the bed was a bit too narrow for us, although we are slim. But that's certainly a matter of taste and habit. Breakfast comes at first glance very clear, as the buffet area is really small. Nevertheless, we were really impressed, because the quality of all the things on the buffet was really outstanding. and also the selection was more than impressive at second glance. Several types of sausage and ham, several types of cheese, homemade jams, Nutella, homemade fruit curd, homemade Bircher cereal, fresh fruit. Eggs could be prepared fresh. A glass of Secco has made the start of the day "special". Everything is prepared with great attention to detail. All this leads to this very good review. We might come back, even if we would rate the value for money as not quite as good, because the hotel is not quite cheap compared to other accommodation in the area around Würzburg.

Goldener Lowe restaurant

We ate at this restaurant owned by the hotel. It was really busy and we know why…because the food was really good. Great menu with interesting choices. All tasty served with some great wine. The hotel rooms were lovely and the breakfast great

Frisch Jung Spritzig Ideenreich - die eigenen Weine kann man gleich probieren. Die Zimmer sind hell und klimatisiert

Wir kaufen schon lange die Weine von Bernard und sind immer wieder vom mega netten Service begeistert. Jetzt können wir auch noch übernachten! Leider war nur 1 Nacht frei aber wir waren begeistert. Hübsch gemacht mit viel Liebe zu Details. Wir kommen wieder !
