Für uns ein nostalgischer Ort

Auf unserer Radtour von Hannover nach Waren wollten wir das Kloster Marienfließ besichtigen. Das war leider nicht möglich. Das Gasthaus "Zur Alten Eiche" war dagegen eine positive Überraschung. Wir hatten das Gefühl in einem gemütlichen Dorf mit Gasthaus einzukehren, in dem vielleicht schon mein Vater auf seiner Radtour von vor ca. 100 Jahren von Vorpommern nach Hannover eingekehrt war. Der Gastraum dieser kleinen Gaststätte ist außerordentlich gemütlich, das Wirtsehepaar überaus zuvorkommend und freundlich, es gibt anständiges Bier und abends die ortsübliche Bockwurst mit Kartoffelsalat. Jeder Wunsch beim Frühstück wurde berücksichtigt und das schon um 7.00 Uhr morgens. Das Gastzimmer und das Bad dagegen waren völlig modern eingerichtet. Die Schlafqualität war genauso gut wie am nächsten Tag im Schloßzimmer von Schloss Klink. Wir freuen uns schon auf nächstes Jahr, dann werden wir wieder, wenn wir gesund bleiben, dort einkehren.
