Hotel with potential - unfortunately also a hotel manager with potential
as you were for several years, we were also on the road for several days in Saxon Switzerland with a group of photographers (10 people) this October 2025. This year we have rented with you. As the local leader of this group, I was the 11th. Person and did not sleep with you, but ate for breakfast and lunch. Thank you for the good quality of breakfast, lunch and friendly Service.
However, the joy only lasted until the invoice, as unfortunately your service employee "had" to inform me that you had decided to charge the parking space (about 7:00 - 22:00) for my van, for 15 euros. Your parking space is a corresponding size and furthermore the 10 people have only arrived with 3 cars. Thus, it would have been at your discretion to provide the parking lot. The 15 euros far exceeds the local fees.
Furthermore, unfortunately, the W-Lan is not stable in your house. You are not responsible for the lack of internet, but stable Wi-Fi is your responsibility.
In conclusion, I can only say that, as manager of this House, you have repeatedly insisted on your principles (as you have seen in other visits) and are therefore unfortunately, in my view, not conducive to tourism in Saxony - a pity.

Room much smaller then promised on their website and tiny old bathroom, but amazing dinner
WiFi in the hotel also does not work properly.
On the positive side: the staff was very friendly and the dinner amazing!

Cosy stop for hikers with rustic charm
The menu was seasonal and sounded very appealing, but due to the time we decided on cakes and drinks. The cake was okay, while the drinks offered a surprising change: we found the pumpkin mulled wine and the refreshing rhubarb cocktail particularly delicious. Prices were fine for the tourist location.
Overall, a nice place to take a break after a hike and enjoy the rustic atmosphere – perfect for exhausted hikers and nature lovers!
