We would love to come back

The hotel is nice and quiet, you don't hear a peep at night. We were greeted very friendly and felt immediately welcome. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. In the cozy a la carte restaurant you can eat well (vegetarian and vegan on the menu), also the breakfast was varied and plentiful. Children are very welcome and have a lot of fun in the playground, tree house and pony riding. For hikers, the hotel is an excellent location.
We were. Housed in a spacious room with balcony. All very clean.
We can warmly recommend the Hotel Gut Vorwald.

Nice family hotel in a beautiful area!

This wonderful family hotel is located in a beautiful valley. The service and atmosphere in the hotel are top notch! We had a renovated room with a balcony. This was very comfortable and neat. The breakfast was very extensive and the dinner was also very good. You can take beautiful walks from the hotel!

Fine place to eat German food, reasonable prices

As we were looking for a restaurant for a good dinner, we were pointed at Gut Vorwald, which turned out to be a reasonable easy going place. With three children, we were happy with the possibility of cheap children’s menu’s. Good service, good quality German food (which in general is not a particularly great kitchen by the way).

Perfect place to relax

This hotel is the perfect place to relax - nice rooms with view, the furniture is brand new, the staff is very polite and helpful. The food, oh the food - tasty as hell. I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a place to relax

Super Kurzurlaub im Gut Vorwald

Wir waren ganz spontan für ein verlängertes Wochenende das erste mal im Gut Vorwald.
Schon der Buchungsvorgang war äusserst „geschmeidig“ und problemlos. Das Gut liegt inmitten der Natur. Drumherum ist nichts ausser Natur. Verschiedene Wandertouren sind direkt ohne das Auto zu bewegen zugänglich.
Unser Zimmer war sauber und auf einem modernen Standard. Wir hatten ein Arrangement mit Halbpension gebucht. Wir konnten aus 5 Hauptgerichten wählen. Es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei und es war auf hohem Niveau zubereitet und präsentiert.
Ds Frühstück liess ebenso keine Wünsche offen.
Der Hammer war das Serviceteam: Professionalität war hier durchgängig mit Herzlichkeit verbunden. Wir fühlten und nach 10 Minuten wie bei guten Freunden, die sich redlich, unaufdringlich und authentisch um unser Wohlergehen sorgten.
Vielen Dank dafür und wir kommen gerne wieder.
