Very nice stay with the whole family
+ free parking spaces
+ super nice newly renovated apartment
+ spacious balcony
+ LOCATION LOCATION, you can hardly stay much closer to the park
+ comfortable bed
+ fair price, compared to the overpriced park hotels
+ Wellness feeling with the magnificent rain shower
+ receptionist friendly and helpful
+/- a little late Check In only from 5 pm, wouldn't it make sense to offer a Check In from 12 pm so that guests can still possibly go to the park for half the day?
+/- Breakfast standard of a 3* hotel but perfectly sufficient
- a 2nd, smaller bathroom with toilet would be helpful for an apartment designed for 8 people
- Too few towels provided for 8 people
- 3,50EUR for a 0,33 beer from de, vending machines already a bit overdrawn
- Overcrowding breakfast on weekends, if you are unlucky, there will be waiting times for seats
All around, the chosen hotel for our weekend stay in the park was just the thing. Should we visit the park again with the entire family, then gladly here again.
For a trip with my wife and my little one, then more of a hotel with wellness area etc.

NO SECURITY! RUN AWAY!
Catastrophic stay from start to finish.
The staff is not at all welcoming, always pulling their heads, without a kind word or smile. We clearly feel too much.
The room was dirty: shower products scattered everywhere (on the air conditioning, on the shower, etc.), protection of mattresses with holes, and overall neglected maintenance.
But the worst part: the door doesn't even close! A simple push was enough to open it - a real danger to the safety of customers. Unacceptable! (Video in evidence but impossible to put here).
Breakfast was a shame: not enough room for everyone, some ate sitting on the ground, very little choice and often the dishes were empty.
And to top it all off, parking spaces are paid for, but even after paying, no guarantee of having one! We had to park elsewhere on the way back from the restaurant in the evening.
A deplorable experience, no respect for guests.
I strongly advise against fleeing without hesitation!

Great location but very average product.
Booking & contact: It's difficult to make contact with the hotel, they seemed to have outsourced all bookings to companies like Booking.com
Check-in: They told us right away we had a room in their "Guest house", located 150m down the road. Breakfast at the main building every morning. We didn't have a problem with that, they'd even painted the guest house the same light blue. We also heard them saying the same thing to others checking in over the next 2 days; for those who objected, they miraculously seemed to find rooms in the main hotel. It gave me the impression they were trying to push as many people to the "guest house" as possible.
Rooms: We had friends staying in the main building, and could see the difference between the rooms.
- The main building had a more modern infrastructure.
- The TV remote in our room was missing (they replaced it the next day, but this didn't work. It obviously didn't belong to the same TV, or hadn't been paired). This led to the curious situation of the TV starting on it's own in the middle of the night (we had to disconnect the plug).
- The air conditioner didn't work.
- The hair dryer went off after a minute (probably overheated).
- The linen was torn in some places.
- There was a water kettle with teabags-this worked well.
- The bathroom itself was modern, but had a small, open square window which was the only means of air circulation. it was see-through (we were on the ground floor).
3. Location: About the only good part about the hotel. A 5 minute easy walk to Europa Park (Gate 7, just next to the place where everyone enters).
4. Parking: plenty at both the hotel and the guest house.
5. Breakfast: Good, more than what one would expect at a 3* in Europe. The staff were not friendly but not hostile either. Just don't bother with the scrambled eggs, they looked like they were taken out of a freezer.
6. Wifi: good.
Overall: the hotel is run very commercially, with as the least touchpoints with the customer as possible. Rust being the location it is at, business just comes most of summer. The hotel staff don't look too happy either and won't move an inch to help unless you pointedly ask. We've stayed in other, simpler hotels in the area but been happier.
