Welcome Overnight Stop

This hotel is nice and pleasant and the staff is very friendly. I had been driving for hours and was looking for a place to spend the night. This hotel was a most welcome surprise. It is just adjacent to the Autohof. After spending the night there I was relaxed and ready to hit the road the next day.

Bagger, never not again

Terribly treated as a customer! Not ever again. Not recommended you are treated like a piece of dirt!
Don't ever come here again. Complaints won't be taken seriously. So I'm warned people case Alberto Stegeman, who could fill a program with it.

Bed and breakfast - one night

We booked the Landhaus Elbert to break up our journey, so that we could have a good night’s sleep. The hotel is ideally located just off the autoroute A61. The room was clean, the breakfast good (although some of the bakery goods had run out by 6:45am) and ample free parking was available directly outside the hotel. We wish that we had brought plenty of drinking water with us, as there isn’t a kettle in the room. We were probably just very unlucky (?), as it was so very noisy outside the hotel all night. The loud noise could be heard even with the hotel room window closed. It was a constant droning noise (that may have been coming from the lorry park a couple of minutes walk away?) and it was very difficult for us to sleep.

overnight stop

Tad pricey for what it is but Rheinbollen is pricey anyway!. Breakfast is in the main building but evening meals only in the truck stop 200 yards up the road with basic food, truckers food but pleasant non the less.

Landhaus saved by Aral gas station

Leaving the highway to find a place to sleep we found the hotels in town booked. On returning to the highway we spotted Landhaus Elbert. From the ouside it looked promising, although we found the sign 'casino' a little strange. Upon entering we found the restaurant closed, but we were tired and it had to do. The room was simple but clean. One could smell a lot of something was used to get it in that state. Beds were apart, but that was quickly fixed. We were glad we could dine in the nearby Aral lorry driver restaurant: as usual these places do not disappoint, and that was the definitely the case here too. Breakfast next morning was fine too. So thanks to the Aral station we had an ok stay...
