The hotel is nice by the river and park, and within the Rees town area. The hotel staff is helpful and the breakfast spread is good and cosy.

Unhygienic bathroom and uninterested staff.

We booked for 2 nights. It was not until the second morning that I saw what the showerhead looked like. It often happens that there are black streaks or black mold in the bathroom, but the appearance of the showerhead is truly unhygienic.

This is an hotel which I have stayed on numerous occasions & I do so as I love the place & this time I stayed in a refurbished room which was excellent, it can be recommended

Nice balcony, good breakfast, the rest less.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. We wanted a balcony on the Rhine, nice to look at all the ships (at least, we like that). And with a "Doppelzimmer Deluxe" you have totally succeeded! Beautiful place, exactly what we wanted. A 10 for the balcony. We think the hotel also knows this and otherwise wanted to keep it cheap. The room looks a bit cheap, but was actually fine (and we sat outside anyway). The bathroom gets no more than a 3. Looks out of time and cheap and it was. Shower in the bath with a fairly low shower bar. And the water didn't drain away. At the toilet, the water just kept flowing. Both not nice. The elevator was also broken, from Friday afternoon to Sunday. Staff were nice but totally no excuses for the inconvenience. Positive again: the extensive breakfast. All in all very variable. It's how important you think the balcony is. Could be we come back. If you do go to Rees: across the Rhine is the archaeological park in Xanten. Recommended!

Ruby wedding at Hotel Rheinpark

My parents celebrated their ruby wedding at the hotel this weekend. It was wonderful. Very warm staff and such courteous Service. The food was great and all guests loved it. Great!
